Love it, you’re railing turns with that perfect upper body slalom positioning. Probably some of the best crossunder/cross through I’ve seen on the slopes.

Amaizing! I really liked your video: preparation, and the warm-up looks like elements of a warm-up in ice hockey and especially liked the carving technique at the start, especially when you use one ski - it looks like very harmonious and technical.

@@RicardoBrancal Of course. Dolomity was one of my favorite European ski-resorts... 1200 km of well-prepared slopes and beautiful mountain scenery.
PS: well, until I've got the knee injury, due to one a**hole on the hill, but that's another story.

I know it's wrong but when I get to the piste I'm too impatient to warm up. I do some but I know not enough. I have skied here, Alta Badia (Sella Ronda), I love Italy ski areas. Great video!

Nice, you're stable. As an old high level racing skier who raced during the transition from skis of 2m to 1m75 in slalom I could give you some tips to become better, I'm ski instructor. I saw Portugal on your jacket, I supposed that there's not so much mountains to train there. You seems to be motivated...

youre really good! I have a question if you dont mind. When I ski I get really exhausted in like my thigh area.. Is that because I lean too much back or is it something else?
Hi! I guess you need to ski more and do an adjusted training plan on the gym
@@RicardoBrancal really? My cardio is really good when i run and I work the legs 2 times a week in the gym, surely it has to be related to technique
Then you need to ski more. Even if you train legs everyday on the gym, won’t be the same as skiing

Why not GS? Looking at the video was perfect for that, but probably just style preference on carving? Btw nice choice for skiing: Dolomiti superski, Alta Badia, arabba, marmolada!

Corvara, Colfosco , Arraba i w ogóle cały region wokół Sella Ronda to po prostu bajka. Widoczny na końcowych kadrach hotel Langustei również. Jeździliśmy tam corocznie , ale w zeszłym roku ceny zwariowały. W tym roku dajemy Włochom czas na opamiętanie. Może wrócimy.

Ricardo, I see myself like I ski the same way like you on this video. From my experience it’s easy to ski like that. But I have a problem. I cannot fully control the speed. I mean, every time I ski like you on this video, but on a steep hill the speed increases and I ride like a pro on a super giant heading down really fast on the edges of the ski, which is fun and ok, but I cannot make short turns, only long! Could you give me an advice how to correct it, please
Hi! Thanks for the comment. Just gradually build up the confidence and technique. You're always gonna have more speed on a steep slope, and it's always gonna be more challenging. try to have a closer turn
@@RicardoBrancal well, thank you for your advice but I’m afraid these are not gonna help me. I expected something more specific from you like how to correct my technique and how to do closer turn when the speed is high and a slope steep.
I would need to see you skiing. Something that helps me is to extend more the outside leg, but again, on a steep slope you’re always gonna feel faster and more out of control
@@RicardoBrancal ok, thank you that’s fair enough. Tell me one more think and correct me if I’m wrong. Is it possible to find skis that would allow me to ride fast and at the same time, or in a moment later, when the way has changed, do short turns? Sometimes I think that it’s not possible to find a balance between these two different types of rides. Something I think that I just need to either have two different types of skis or to make a decision of what way I would like to ski on.
Shorter skis have a shorter turn radius. You have to choose between something more turny or faster indeed
