Awesome!
Philly Nick is back, back, back, again!
Hello! Happy Weekend Nick. 💚💚💚
THANK YOU! Take Good care of yourself these holidays! See you!
Such a great presentation! Always well described, well informed and such an energetic approach...You know your stuff, Nick!!
Great video Nick! I NEED that last plant in my life! Who doesn’t love an underdog?😃
Your description of kerii really hit home. She moseys. She saunters. She does not leap!
I love the moon valley plant! Its actually hard to find them in my area but every time i find them they are so cheap i have to buy one.
My pilea mollis is in an open terrarium and it's flourishing like crazy!! I love the look of it and it's easy as hell
Hi Nick, my Hoya Kerri just hit 9 1/2 ft. It's in my kitchen on stackable coconut coir poles. What a thrill to watch!
wow! Incredible.
Love your saying 1st year they sleep, 2nd year they creep and 3rd year they leap! 😂
such a good video. Your fun personality was back full force. I laughed out loud when you were explaining in detail the handing habit of the peperomia you showcased. You were wonderfully expressive.
Every time I watch your videos my partner comes in and is like "😮 STEVE's LEAVES!"
I think i watched you unbox from them once and from then on he's been convinced that you ARE steve's leaves 😂
BenjiPlant has a huge Dracena Reflexa in his apt! If you watch any of his videos, you’ll see it. Song of India, I believe. ❤
Really? 😱
Immediately thought about that one, too!
Yes. I love his plant!
Thanks for a great video, today. Just what i needed to get out of my holiday funk. I learned a lot and put several plants on my wish list...especially the peperomia. Best regards.
I have been obsessed with finding a cute pilea moon valley! I saw a reddit post where a gal had hers growing in only water and it was so lush and beautiful.
Begonia Chingipengii is my Thriller, Drama and Underdog at the same time. I will die on this hill 😂
completely agree with the pilea statement. my moon valley has been in the same terracotta pot for 2 years and it's huge and i will never touch it until it bursts outta the pot
My variegated Hoya Kerrii only grows when I put it on my front porch in the summer here in Texas. She loves the hot and humidity and grows pretty quickly then.
I LOVE your videos! I've bought two plants this week after watching a few of your videos! I already have a large collection and had sworn off buying more.
your mood is such a vibe! So hilarious and kind.
Nick, I had guessed calathea for the diva category, i could've sworn it would've been a prayer plant.🤪🤪
I truly enjoy the exhibition series
SO GLAD YOU DID THIS VIDEO! NIK!!!! THANK YOU Zane WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!
I am hurt (kidding!) that you put the Pilea Moon Valley in the filler category. I love the textured leaves; they're so intriguing. I do love that they're so inexpensive, but I've almost killed mine a couple of times because I didn't water them soon enough (like you said, they DO respond a little like ferns if I skip their watering).
Great to see you. You share your knowledge very fluently. It’s so nice to learn from your videos. You make them educational, fun and inspirational!
I ❤ my Song of Jamaica!!!! It might be my most underrated plant. It’s doubled in size since getting it 2 years ago. Fast grower, it now stands at 4 feet in height!!
ITS A SENSORY EXPERIENCE!! FOR THE EYES!!
My heart leaf Hoya grows a lot! I’ve heard of they are not growing like that; it might have flat mites. They’re microscopic and a sulfur treatment will get rid of them.
I was also wondering if there could be flat mites on that plant. Mite wanna get some magnification and check it out.
plus his Kerrii is yellow & not green. I think you may be right.
I just got a Hoya Kerri at the end of the "growing" season here in PA. She has been in my list for a long time but always too pricey for my cheap self. I pray that I keep her alive since she already lost a leaf. I love hoya but the ones on my list are getting a little pricier so I have to master what i have before I think of adding to the collection.
Good draining mix, don't over water, that's the secret🌱💚🤗
Love the underdog choice, I want one! 😍
Love the series !!!
Another great video👍
💚🌱🌵☘️
Love it,love it, great show as always.
This is my favorite series you do 😊
i love this series, there is so much infomation here ♥
Thank you for sharing this spot light of plants, all good choices! 💚😎💚
Great video Nick. Only a true professional can make such a great presentation . Your knowledge of houseplants is enviable. Truly enjoyed part 1&2 of this series. Thank you, Amy
The only plant I've killed in recent years was the golden hahnii... So much for "easy, low light, set and forget"... That thing made my fiddles simple! 🤣
I want to get the more typical sansevieria but the large sized ones are quite expensive and I don't have money to throw out in 4 months 🤷🏼♀️
Great video, I have few of these also and all that you said it's on point😁
I'm liking the exhibition series :)
Your Pilea is gorgeous 😍 I chopped my Kerri, and it sprouted more branches/leaves. Love the Parva!!! 💚💚💚🌱
I like the pilea. I have a Pilea involucrata (Pan Am). It hates me! LOL But I keep her because I'm ornery like that.
Great video today, Nick. I love your personality and humor!
I really did enjoy this video Nick . Thank you so much . My peperomia kimnachii is my favorite .. got it as a small cutting from my hairdresser , it rooted slowly and grows slowly indeed but it is beautiful
good video Nick. Hope your feeling better.
I practically grew up at Longwood! Unfortunately, I haven't been there in years even though it's only about 15 minutes from home because... life. I just wish I could find a good houseplant store in Chester County. I've been at such a loss ever since Waterloo Gardens went under years ago. (Another place I grew up at!)
Thanks for the great info, Nick! I don't think I'd have much success with some of those because I have a townhouse that faces north/south, so I either have too MUCH light, or not enough. Frustrating! But I would like to find one of those underdog plants, I got such cool bamboo vibes from it. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! (If you celebrated it, that is.)
ITS A SENSORY EXPERIENCE FOR THE EYES. Lol 😂 yes lord
The Kerii is thirstier than you would think and loves bright indirect light and a lot of humidity.
Nick, have you seen the Tigress Agleonema? Simple and striking.
Hello friend. Beautiful collection. OneLove ❣
Hi Nick! I really like your plant selections for the different categories, except that the hoya Kerrii doesn't look very healthy. I love dracaena and would love to find a reflexa. I have a marginata that grows wonky and I love it. Actually I'd like to find all of them. I've never seen a sanseveria like that. It's pretty cool looking. It seems like you're feeling much better now, I hope so! Please let us know how things are going for you. Thank you so much for sharing!
I wanna give a special thanks to Nick for introducing me to some of the most easy-going and beautiful plants I have today.🥰 Draceana, scindapsus and peperomia. I want an aglaonema rotundum and chocolate but the prices never seem to drop. 😒
Your kerrii looks pretty sick. I wonder if it has flat mites. I have a kerrii and it is in a sw window. It is a more vivid green and is a pretty fast grower.
I thought the same thing
I love the Chinese evergreen my favourite one is the cutlass. It’s a bit hard to find in a bit expensive when you find it like most agony much but it’s great. Mine has not lost the leaf since I got it.
Can you grow that floor plant next to you on a pole, to keep it growing straight up?
👁👄👁 It just like suits like my internal vibe
Tammy here. Miss seeing you! Love the Dracena Relexa ( sp?)!
The spiller: I’ve had a lil 2inch dahlstedii for like 2 yrs now and never knew what it was. I would compare it to others but find slight differences and question it. Lol
The diva: Also my variegated kerii likes to keep shooting out nubbins just to drop em after a couple weeks. It’s killing me. 1 whole yr and no stable new growth. Idk which one I suck at more. The variegated compacta or kerii 😂🤦🏻♀️
The underdog: I finally see now how a snake plant is dracaena
What are the reddish spots on the hoya kerii from?? I've noticed some on my hoya obovata and can't figure out what's causing it!
I chopped my Hoya Kerri up because it grows so leggy.
Yaaaay you're back looking happy!!!!! Love your videos and vibe ✨️
Not a Hoya expert, but it looks like a mineral deficiency to me. Usually when plants look pale, they are chlorotic and need fertilizer.
Good luck!
😺✌️
Jumped the gun a bit before you mentioned fertilizing. Is that just NPK, or have you added micronutrients, like worm castings or azomite?
Mycorrhiza additives might also help.
😺✌️
Hi, Nick!
My peperomia died due to fungus- my fault.
It was In terracotta pot.
Can I use this pot again for different plant, or it is not useable anymore?
Curious how the apoballis you got a few months back from an unboxing video is doing. Mine is literally never happy and idk why.
Wow beautiful Plants ^^
Include Like 279 , I leave 3 presents.
Have a good relationship.
My friend, always stay Connected~~
What are the spots on the undersides of your Hoya Kerrii new leaves? Fungus? Or is that normal? Mine finally gave me a new leaf and it looks like yours.
it's almost 3 weeks and where are you now... hu3
❤❤❤
Perhaps your Hoya Kerrii is getting too much light, shouldn't it be green, and not yellow?
More content
Maybe the hoya has flat mites? 🤷🏻♀️
Nick, do you read our comments?
I enjoy your channel, but feel like you don't like to interact with your audience.
I would do the same if I made YT videos, it’s good to set boundaries and keep yourself comfortable especially when the job you have is unpredictable. He’s having success even without having to respond to comments, and by doing that saving time/energy, and protecting himself from the negativity commenters often bring. More hands off content creator, where his videos are about specific topics instead of this being a personal social media account like a lot of others turns into, which I can only imagine being insanely anxiety-inducing and invasive into your private life. Anyways those are just my thoughts but I also understand why you would like to hear more from him.
@@b.r.v.8609 This is a good point.
Too many weirdos feel content creators "owe" them something.
Thank you, I changed my mind on this b/c of your comment.
Thanks for a great video, today. Just what i needed to get out of my holiday funk. I learned a lot and put several plants on my wish list...especially the peperomia. Best regards.
