  • The superchargers on all 2007 and earlier Sea Doo models had an inferior system responsible for oiling the bearings and washers. In this video we show how to upgrade your supercharger oiler system to function like that of newer models.

    Love my 07 RXP. She may not have all the bells and whistles of the newer SeaDoo's but with a few upgrades she brings out the smiles for miles . Yet another high value vid 😁

    Awesome video. Wish I saw this last year. I paid greenhulk to make the modification on my 2007. I installed a 300 supercharger. (a few other mods as well). It runs like a beast!

    Simply amazing. You guys make some awesome videos. Where are you located at? And is that a modified wrench to hold the supercharger?

      Thanks, Dennis! We are located in White Rock British Columbia. And yes, it is a modified wrench. Good eyes.

    How often are you suppose to rebuild the supercharger on 2008 215 after the initial change from ceramic washers.

    • @3ftDeepChannel
      @3ftDeepChannel  Před rokem +1

      They keep improving the kits, so it depends when your rebuild was done. The range is between 150 and 250 hours, but we wouldn't suggest more than 200 hours and more like 175 hours. Also, time will also degrade components in the supercharger (especially the bearing case), so we also recommend doing rebuilding it every 5-7 years.

    • @3ftDeepChannel
      @3ftDeepChannel  Před 2 lety +1

      It should be OK with only 70 hours on it. Next time you’re in the area, though …

    is it possible to give me the link where you found the parts because I can't find it on the seadoo site I have just had my 2005 RXT 215 repaired and it cost me 4000 € I would like to make your modification this is very interesting and it might make my jet last longer

    • @3ftDeepChannel
      @3ftDeepChannel  Před 2 lety +1

      Hello Jean-Philippe, The parts are dependent on each make and model. First check out this link here for your machine: shop.sea-doo.com/ca/en/shop/sales/parts/. You should do like we did and call up your local dealer and order the supercharger upgrade kit for your machine. That way you can be certain they're the right parts. It won't make your entire machine last longer, but it should extend the life of your supercharger before it requires rebuilding. Good luck!

    With a supercharger you should always use a digital torque wrench not the analog style simply because the digital
    is less affected by factors like friction, temperature, or mechanical noise, that causes inaccuracies

    • @3ftDeepChannel
      @3ftDeepChannel  Před měsícem

      Good point. Digital ones were much more expensive at the time we bought ours, though.
