Cheers bro, just played 2 games in elite div and won both easily. What I found most effective about these tactics is the defence. Having a defensive cdm like Keane, vieira, gattuso etc. is rly useful.

Everyone sleeping on this formation but I’ve been using this for the last 3 months and with my custom tactics & instructions it’s by far the most potent formation I’ve played with so far in FIFA 23.
I make a couple of changes but the most significant one that brings this formation to life is to change the LB & RB to LWB & RWB, then move them both slightly higher up into midfield (in-line with the CDM) and tuck them inside to make them play as inverted WB’s who form a 3 in defensive midfield with the CDM- This allows for lots of great passing angles and triangles when playing out from the back and allows the LM, CM & RM to play higher up as attacking mids and provide endless triangles and great pass & move options and transitions.
I may do a video on it shortly showcasing how good it is.

Get tips. Fifa didn't just mess up on the menu screen but on the pitch. At start up when using this formation my cdm is in the "rcm" position. I would have to pause it and switch them to put them in position. Not sure if it would mess up chemistry.

Interesting I've used this at start but gave up on it because of the CDM swap, what I was seeing was not just the intuctions, they actualy swaped in game to, I had to always reverse it... maybe they fixed that part

Been using this myself with 72 depth and 1 width 😂 with wingbacks on attacking and overlap , passing width is 1 aswell , not as bad as it sounds , no holes through the centre of defence and usually have cover for the gap left down the sides , will try this one aswell 🎉

In my experience there is sadly a big stamina drain if you playing the whole Game from start on pressure on heavy touch

Reason why we use it is most players at the stage of the game have high stamina, plus you get 5 substitutes to use so you can change as required. If you still find this an issue, leave it on Balanced my friend 🙂 it'll still work as intended, you'll just have to defend more manually
