- In this video we take a closer look at the specifications and differences of the 2023 Ampd Bros ACE-X and ACE-S Standard and Plus+ electric bikes.
Remember: All bikes are restricted to 250W and 25km/h out of the box for Australian standards. De-restricting your bike to full power or adding off road throttle kits will deem your bike legal only for private property use. This is guide only and you should always check with your local authority for the regulations in your area and where you can ride your bike legally.

I love my Ace-X Plus, but I highly recommend upgrading the tubes to motorcycle tubes. I was getting a flat once a week due to sidewall failure. Once I upgraded I haven't had flat since.
Thats interesting we haven't had this issue at all. Although the key is ensuring you have the correct tyre pressures, if they get too low then you will easily go through tubes and potentially tyres. We usually run around 22-25psi.
If you can upgrade to mx tubes then thats a good long term solution for sure as well.
How many km can you expect out of these motors and do they eventually burn out and need replacing , and what's the cost to replace them. Also are the motors waterproof ?
I had problems with mine. Headlights and scrapping disc and warped derailleur. I sorted them out as I have the tools and the know how. One thing to point out, it was bought direct from Ampbros. When I tried to claim warranty, I got directed to local dealer in Melbourne, who refused to assist due to "wasn't purchased through us".
What AmpBros should have done and this is for any upcoming customers, is to direct the sale through local dealers if you're not from Queensland.
Otherwise, same as the guys here, I'm loving the bike and I have 3 of them within the family.

This is interesting about Melbourne as the guys there are some of the most helpful. Which store did you try take to in Melbourne? Also our warranty work is covered by us in the event, which stores do know this and support. We do also advertise all our dealers online, including on the product page which you can hit the "Find in Store" button to locate a store who has stocked recently but if you've ordered online it's extremely difficult for us to keep track of every order experience and advise otherwise, however all our team is trained to recommend local dealers if we can identify the right locations and potential stock availability via a personal interaction.
