oh Bamenda! my mother's land. i have missed Bamenda a great deal & constantly down when i think of it, cause i literally been thinking of Bamenda as a terrorist zone due to the happenings. this vlog actually relieves me.
Honestly, Bamenda people are resilient!
All these things will happen and they will sleep and get up the next day and keep pushing forward. I know how depressing it is to hear these things happening and more so to live through them so we really thank God for the days when things are calm and these are the days that keep us hopeful for the future.
I'm glad you found some sort of reassurance in this vlog.

We went round through the back... Food market - Hosp roundabout - and then we got off at T Junction so the bike didn't actually enter commercial avenue.

It’s currently in the middle of a civil crisis with gunshots everyday and frequent region-wide lockdowns and it has been that way for the past 5 years. Bamenda would have been further along by now if it wasn’t for the Anglophone Crisis (look it up if you are interested). A lot has been destroyed.
