I picked one up in Philly a couple months ago. Was pretty rough, but got it cheap as it made no sound. Got it working, still need to fix a few things and build a divider for the one that was bad. Fun machine.Great demo!
Thanks for the kind words. The guy who repaired my unit - Ray Klos - is based in North Wales, PA. He was able to procure a lot of six divider cards on the internet and he installed one that had failed in this unit. He's one of the only guys left who will service Farfisas.

Great stuff ! I’m getting ready to sell mine. It came out off the basement of a church here on Long Island - mint condition - 16 years ago - I never used it once ! Lol
Joe, if your unit is in need of repair, I got a guy (See description above). I realize it's about a 2½ hour schlep from where you are. But, you've been known to "road trip" out to these parts. And, Ray is pre-eminent in the field with these vintage keys. In fact, he's one of the last guys who'll work on Farfisas. I had initially called up another shop in the area and they gave me his name, which I was already familiar with. I was delighted to know that he was still in business. They used some flavor of Farfisa. Hard to tell which one because they were running it through a bunch of effects. Don't know that there's any film or video footage from that era. Rev subsequently switched to synths.

Hey I just got mine VIP 233 yesterday. Everything works great except there is oscillator noise present when I open drawbar switches. Any clue. I hear your is dead quiet or you use a isolator? Best D
This unit, from the time it was brand new, always had some audible system noise. However, it never exhibited any noise that changed level in proportion to the opening of the drawbars.
