*Have you done kettlebell swings in the past?*
Is this the form you were using? 👇
Thank you for the video! I am all the time worried about the glass door behind you lol
Same.
Very helpful lesson. Thanks!
This is just what I wanted to know before purchasing and how to figure out the kettlebell weight that is right for me. Thank you for showing us the correct form.
Great! Kettlebells are definitely a great purchase :)
Hey man, seems your kb swing is more squatting than hinging
That's what I thought too
Its squat with a swing. An American kettlebell swing apparently.
Thank you !! Thank you!! Definitely explained perfectly ✨☺️
Great to hear! Do you have a kettlebell?
Great tutorial!
Thanks so much! Do you use the kettlebell swings?
nice upload friend
Thank you. Very useful. Yes I have a 12kg kettlebell.
Very nice!
Please do not follow this video. He’s breaking at the hips way too early. The bell should be almost touching your body when you break at the hips. Then you absorb the weight with that hip hinge. He did none of this
Aside from his technique, people should avoid buying those tiny kettlebells that he is using. There are bigger ones with low weight. Those tiny bells will hurt your wrist while doing snatches and cleans even with perfect technique.
His head position is also wrong. It is SO important to make sure you DO NOT have any "ripples" in the neck skin. A straight back means straight from tailbone to neck not just back but not flat like a board, think as if you are holding a steel pipe along your entire backside, you will be SOLID, but you will not be level because your spine has a curve. Just don't flex any of it, the neck or the tail bone, during the swing. The swing comes from the hip pivot. With this amount of reps, you will do so much damage to your nerves if you crane your neck like this. If you are an average male start at 20 lbs then quickly get to 35 and unless your an athlete there is no reason to go bigger.
Just the exercise it’s not complicated like you guys are making it seem. In fact you complicate it even more for newbies. There doesn’t have to be la crow slaying in from the east or the cows pointing north. Just swing
😂
This
Confusing! Should we hinge more at the hips than squatting?
What brand kb is that? I like the wide handle
You're squatting way too much. The kettlebell swing is a hinging motion and not what you're showing people. You'll get people injured if they pay attention to you
“Pop… pop… pop what, Magnitude?”
Nope..The kettlebell should be more in front of you so it forms a triangle with your feet. This is to get the right hip hinge and power in the swing, in addition this helps you not to overcompensate other parts of the body such as the lower back or arms.
50 pounds 50 rep?. Darn its good
Appreciate that.
What if you hit your nuts?🤔
they too are also swinging
Sorry man, but your form is incorrect. You shouldn't be teaching this method, especially to beginners. It's a hinge movement, not a squatting movement. Teaching a beginner to follow your method is going to teach them to squat more than it will to hinge, resulting in a different use of muscle than it would for your posterior chain. Teaching to start with a deadlift immediately makes it seem like an up+down motion, when it definitely is not.
Pls take care of your snake plant
I didn’t :( it’s RIP
ok I was doing 100 to 150 with 30lb kettle bell swing and my back started to hurt. can you pull back muscles doing this swing?
