У нее были воспаленные от слез глаза, и она улыбалась и говорила удивительные вещи. Абсолютно не сломленныая женщина. Просто героиня…
И вот сегодня рано утром я вела машину и услышала беседу с кем-то по радио. Женщина рассказывала, что было найдено письмо сына, уже после его гибели. Письмо, написанное родным на случай…
И горе, пригодилось это письмо…
Женщину спросили, сможет ли она его зачитать. И тут она не выдержала и попросила, чтобы его прочитал один из ведущих радиопрограммы. Сказала, что боится не выдержать…
Это была Сарит Зусман. И звучало письмо Бена, мальчика 22 лет, его завещание родным и друзьям.
Я успела поставить запись. И сейчас слушаю ее и перевожу на русский язык, именно его слова.…
«Если вы читаете это письмо, значит, что-то случилось со мной. Но сейчас, как вы понимаете, нет человека счастливее меня. Я радуюсь и благодарен тому, что имею такую возможность, защищать свою страну, Эрец Исраэль.
Даже если со мной что-то случится, я не разрешаю вам сидеть в скорби и печали. Будьте уверены, я нахожусь наверху и посылаю вам огромную улыбку. Наверное, сижу около деда и мы теперь сможем дополнить то, что не успели раньше. И каждый расскажет о свое войне и о том, что изменилось от войны до войны. Может быть, поговорим о политике…Расскажем все друг другу.
Если все же, не дай Бог, вам придется сидеть по мне «шива» (траурную неделю) превратите ее в неделю «кейфа». Пусть будет вкусная еда, сладкая вода, пиво, семечки, и, конечно же, мамино печенье.
Пусть будет весело и смешно в доме, рассказывайте друг другу то, что не успели раньше рассказать, познакомьтесь с моими друзьями и с теми, с которыми раньше не успели познакомиться. Вау, знаете, я вам завидую…. Мне бы хотелось сидеть с вами рядом и видеть вас всех.
Еще очень очень, важно мне сказать вам…
Если не дай Бог, я попаду в плен, живой или мертвый, я не готов, чтобы ради меня кто-то рисковал своей жизнью. Я прошу ничего не делать для моего освобождения, никаких кампейнов, никаких сделок. Я категорически не желаю чтобы взамен - освобождали террористов, Пожалуйста, ни в коем случае, не измените моей просьбе.
Я ушел в армию, не получив «цав 8» (срочный призыв) Я ушел в армию полный гордости и уверенности, что поступаю правильно.

Сарит, мама Бена, рассказывает, что так и прошла траурная неделя, среди друзей сына, среди крепких объятий, воспоминаний, улыбок…В друзьях Бена сохраняется часть его, говорит Сарит, так она чувствует…
По поводу письма Бена, Сарит говорит, что Бен укрепил семью. Он написал, что отправился в армию с открытым сердцем, он знал, на что идет, он смог объяснить, как вести семье на случай его пленения. Он сделал свой выбор, как взрослый мужчина. Отпали вопросы, их не осталось. И это освобождает сердце от них, и помогает дышать и жить дальше.
Я не разрешаю вам жить в печали, - написал Бен.
Вчера родные и друзья были на его могиле после завершения «шивы». Друзья положили футболку с фотографией Бена, его шарф болельщика команды «А-Поэль», сигареты, и… бутылки любимого пива. Когда завершилась церемония поминовения. Сарит вспомнила, что обещала сыну пить пиво только с ним. И она открыла бутылку, там, рядом с ним. И все ребята пили пиво. Так он бы хотел…
Он завещал нам продолжать радоваться, - говорит Сарит, - мы будет стараться так жить. А когда победим, когда вернутся наши бойцы, целые и невредимые, тогда будет самая большая радость. О такой радости мечтал Бен…
Только что, в вечернем блоке новостей, вновь рассказывали о Сарит, о письме Бена, правда, эту часть, в которой он говорит о том, как он просит поступать в случае пленения, эта часть письма не упоминалась.
А утром я плакала, слушая этот разговор, так и получилась запись, рассказ Сарит и мои слезы… А Сарит Зусман утверждает, что сын ее совсем не герой, он хороший парень, но не герой, и что она совсем не героическая мама. «Мы - обычная израильская семья», - говорит Сарит. Настоящая израильская семья.
Наверное, она права… Настоящая израильская семья, это больше чем быть героями. И только в настоящей израильской семье вырастают такие парни, как Бен. И воспитывают их такие мамы, как Сарит

I was in mad love with Russell Crowe after I saw him in the Gladiator. Perhaps it really was Maximus that I loved. Maximus was so decent, honest, loyal and had so much integrity. I have yet to find such a man living here on this planet.

What a brilliant film. I love this film, the music, the action, the acting, the scenery. Not OTT not unrealistic and I like how the "good guy" is kind of bad ass too. Not an all American hero with his hands down the pants of every woman in the film!!!! This film is fantastic and is my favourite film after Haley Joel Osment's AI. My 3rd favourite is Enemy at the gates and my 4th favourite film is Tarka the otter in 1979!
