This is the double speak I don’t like from China. A resurgent China is obviously a natural choice for India as a partner. But it is China who doesn’t want this. I don’t even understand why, but I have an inkling it’s because of how Britain propped up India over China as the preferred colonial partner. Now china is rich too and in future will ask the spoons and cutlery to be made by blBangladesh, Nepal or Sri Lanka and then they will import these to China. Every country will go through this phase.
