See but that’s the thing we the last part of your opinion, she’s not getting the success she deserves. As an artist that she is, and by all means of the most talented singers in 2017, since 2008 when she started, she’s looked down upon because people wanna praise other so called artists who aren’t in any level of vocal that she’s in. Like for instance and idc if any selenator wants to drag me for saying this but Selene can’t sing for shit... I’ve said it so many times, and theirs proof out their with her live mic vocals.. and here she is on the Top 10, billboard hot 100 for something that she knows she’s well aware knowing she’s not good at and that’s singing. She’s got no singing voice, unlike Demi.
Demi is truly one of my favorites because she is not only a very passionate and talented artist but also such an amazing person. The fact that she bounced back from a hard time in her life and rose to overcome her struggles is so inspiring. And now she uses her story for all of us as fans to see that there is hope and light at the end of the tunnel❤

I have a lot of respect for Demi being open about her bipolar disorder... I have it too and understand and went through many of the struggles she faces... you go girl! Love the honesty. Be real, be raw, and see how many people respect you for that. That's what makes an impact.

I’m so happy for Demi. I’ve never spoke to her in my life but I’ve seen her at her worst, from the amount that I’ve been shown. And I’m so happy to see her so genuinely happy to be where she is. That’s what’s life’s about picking yourself up and learning from your mistakes.

I never really like her, but after watching her documentary and realizing so much shit she went through (ie bipolar) and how much I actually could relate, I have gained much respect for her. I know the struggles of it, how you think you have this handle on life. Eventually it becomes to much and so you seek things to mask the hurt ie drugs and booze. Thanks Demi for being honest, you resonated with me and I appreciate knowing that even someone famous can go through the same shit you did (jus minus the fame side lol)

i have been a Demi fan since i saw the talent show episode on as the bell rings so am so looking forward to this to see her journey and struggles in film form ^-^
that documentary turned me into a fan. i can't say i was hugely aware of her beforehand, beyond the fact that she was a disney kid, so i went into it neutral. but the documentary was so honest and compelling and she, herself, is very charismatic and she's obviously very talented and i like that she's able to own up to her mistakes. i liked it a lot better than the lady gaga one bc demi lovato didn't deify herself or victimise herself or try to put the blame on anyone else. she didn't make excuses, she gave reasons. she's been through a lot and her cause is very inspirational. at some points, she put into words things i struggle to understand about myself! particularly when she spoke of addiction and trying to find what her father found important enough about alcohol to choose it over everything else in his life.
