My heart goes out to Ellen. No one is perfect and we all fuck up. Imagine the entire world turns on you. She did so much good for people and now all people talk about is her mistakes. I know she’s not perfect but she is human like us all. We need to start giving people a break and putting ourselves in other people’s shoes. The lack of empathy online it sickens me.
Ellen is a unique persinality. The ooinions of the mob is horrible. You all can't even evaluate Ellen's value in the American identity. But you must be a great rare person yourself, if you are able to feel pain she is getting now from hundreds thouzands of narrow-minded betrayers she's been making happy for nineteen years.

I agree! She has done a lot for charity and yes her fame got to her head but she suffered the consequences. She has apologised to her staff, and I am sure after this she’ll never ever treat them badly. James has also been a dick at multiple occasions, Howard Stern….don’t ask. But she is suffering more than them though what she has done is not more than what they have done. Howard was soo mean and rude to guests on his show, James is known to be mean to non famous people. Ellen is talented and she has made it big, bigger than anyone else and one day she makes a mistake and we all forget those years and years of effort and laughter she has given us. She screwed up, but don’t we all?

One of the main differences (for those who care) is that a pond allows the sunlight to reach the bottom whereas a lake does not as it's too deep.

There’s an interview that Mark Calloway did that was one of the first big/long interviews he did breaking Kayfabe (not as his ‘Undertaker’ gimmick’) and he said ‘you know’ soooooo many times that you couldn’t help but pick up on it every time.

I don’t care if she is an actual terrible person or not. But her career did not have to end like this. She started out happy and now she is anything but happy. And i know i know that her work environment isn’t good and she was bad to her employees, but still i have the feeling that that isn’t the whole story. Because a lot of her other employees didn’t complain at all. Anyways i’m sad the show is ending, i always enjoyed watching it.

I don't think anyone said she's bad to the employees, from what i heard it's employees in higher positions treating others lower than them badly, and she said that she was completely unaware that this was going on behind the scenes. This happens in lots of work places so I don't get why nobody believed her
@eleven the interviews are scripted every topic they talk about it's been discussed and approved to. For the translator yes she definitely broke the line with her jokes there. But all the celebs that people said they were annoyed from her they came back to the show, they wouldn't have to if they really didn't like her
