With all that tech and risk he's taking, you'd think he'd capture the mauler twins to make himself clones instead but nah, walking that thin thin line with no parachute.
The thing that gets me with this, is that in spite of the fact he's trying to kill Cecil over and over again. He's holding back enough for Cecil's team to save him. If he genuinely wanted him dead, the teleporter wouldn't save him because no human has that sort of reaction time to compete with a viltrunite's speed.
You can tell Cecil hit a nerve when he said get it off your chest because Omni man new that he cared about Mark and his wife even after everything he said and did
You can see early cracks of regret in Nolans face when Cecil says that the guardians were his friends like deep down he did hate having to kill them but his devotion to his empire is still more important

This moment is basically Cecil "wanna get it off your chest?." Omniman "you don’t know whats coming. I do, and there is NOTHING you can do to stop it."

I like how after the first teleport he catches his breath because he’s scared, but after he realizes he doesn’t have to worry that much and takes control of the situation
You can see clearly that Omni man doesn't wants to do what he did. That beat up mark received. The death of guardians of the globe. Calling Debbie a pet. It wasn't his choice.
Calling Debbie a “pet” was heavy as fuck, can’t imagine what’s she’s going through not to mention thinkinf
@@kalvin187douglaspretty sure that was him lying to himself. He was saying those things bc he was in denial, he still wants to believe that he's a loyal soldier of the Viltrumite empire by making himself sound like an apathetic being.
@@ItIsIKhai I agree but I’m sure it’s more complicated than we can imagine
he tried pretty hard to detach himself from the world that showed him love but couldnt bring himself to fully betray everyone by staying loyal to his alien race. he killed so many people though holy fucking shit
@@PeptoAbismol well now he redeemed and sacrificed himself in comics. Omni man is a great character for me. WAYYYYY BETTER than home-freak-lander.
With all that tech and risk he's taking, you'd think he'd capture the mauler twins to make himself clones instead but nah, walking that thin thin line with no parachute.
I wouldn't trust the twins honestly. They put random things into robots new body and they got exposed for it.
@TechnoticPlate well, besides that it turns out the twins were alright in the comics. Cecil doesn't need to trust em, just needs a contingency for em.
This man better play an important role in Season 2 for that 25 million we fuggin paid
How you go tell someone " stay outta this " then proceeds to clabber him
You would not believe that somehow Nolan later saves earth and becomes an _actual_ good guy.
Because you simps wouldn't let him be the villian
@@grilledleeks6514this comic is 20 years old. Stfu.
@@grilledleeks6514cope harder lmao
@@grilledleeks6514 No, because he knew something bad was coming and was trying to solve the problems that were causing it.
@cainabel6356 nah its because you guys pretend like someone who committed genocide multiple times can be redeemed.
Cecil’s “human” but he sure has super human reflexes when teleporting
I love the fact that even if omniman is a monster in the first season you see him have instant regrets when he betrays peoples he like
I can’t imagine the pain that Omni man was going through emotionally having to do what he did.
He didn't give a single ounce. When it comes to his son however. Maybe a little? He did beat him up afterall.
@@TechnoticPlate He did care but is in denial.
You can tell Cecil hit a nerve when he said get it off your chest because Omni man new that he cared about Mark and his wife even after everything he said and did
You can almost hear the pain of betrayal in cecils voice
You can see early cracks of regret in Nolans face when Cecil says that the guardians were his friends like deep down he did hate having to kill them but his devotion to his empire is still more important
I'd always figured Cecil would have a deeper, more gravelly voice, but Walton Goggins is good in the role.
Everyone is acting like the cost of the teleportation is a big deal but ignore the billions in damage Omni Man causes not very long after this. Not to mention the costs of keeping the leviathan contained, or the cost in human lives, which is impossible to calculate.
I love this Cecil. In the comics he bad decisions but he kinda always felt kinda flat, like he was prepared for Omni man’s switch and didn’t really care. This Cecil is ballsy as hell and it feels like he’s smarter than his comic book counterpart. Also his emotion feels more real with the throat comment and the part about them being friends.
The dialogue is golden
This moment is basically
Cecil "wanna get it off your chest?."
Omniman "you don’t know whats coming. I do, and there is NOTHING you can do to stop it."
I have not watched the show, but is Earth going to be destroyed and Nolan is trying to stop it? For some strange reason there is something nagging at me that Nolan knows that something bad is coming.
@@cainabel6356 remember what Nolan told Mark about how they conquer planets.... if Nolan doesn't get the job done.... they send someone who CAN/WILL. Nolan was nice.... and he knows others aren't as nice as him by Viltrimite standards
It's actually kinda nice he said hey....want to talk about it why you did it.
Whoever was operating the teleporter needs a raise cuz imagine if the mf lags
Best Cecil scene in the show so far. I love how calm and collected he is while Omni man is literally inches away from decimating him. Season 2 is gonna be a banger
If the show follows the comics, this won't be the last time someone will go right for Cecil's throat.
Ominous yet intriguing.
i saw someone else in the comics say that the writer is working with the anime and is intending on fixing what he perceives as mistakes in the comics. one of them was the differences between nolans fight with the guardians
Robatimsu prime
True rl fact: The black budget for every black project/program and in general costs 900$ billion and higher.
I think Cecil's actor is perfect for his character tbh
OmniMan was close to showing his true feelings for a moment before Cecil said wanna get it off your chest then he went back to murder mode lol
Bro Joe Biden got that ultra instinct🤯
He is better than Joe Biden
Omni-man can fly at speeds up to 1,666,000 m/s. And yet he can't catch Cecil?
Isn't that just a teleportation hologram or something?
@@outlaw._.lazinesDon't think Cecil would be worried about being almost choked by him if it was a hologram. So I think he's actually there. How he can teleport faster than Nolan can catch him is beyond me.
Flight for his species is like any muscle you have conscious control of as a human.
Start up speed and strength is the lowest through any movement. The middle is when the most work is done.
It is also shown through Mark that trying to perma-flex is not possible. Noland said something along the lines of, "You have to flex and relax, on and of to gain speed.'
Nolan isn’t teleporting himself, his team is. Thats why he looks so relieved after the first one, he’s trusting them to time it right. At least iirc. Edit: Apparently it might be both?
it's because power scaling is bullshit, he cant move at this speed he has to accelerate
Master Pakku really does have a talent!
These videos are how I survive lunch
What was the reason?
He comes from an alien empire. Think of him like a spy. Preparing Earth for their arrival. Not that he didn't get attached to Earth though.
@@127mfannot a spy, more like first wave scout(s).
He became too attached to Earth and the moment his son confirmed that he had powers too he knew he had to act quick to prepare earth to be conquered
@@bambi20082148right
His job was to weaken Earth for the upcoming invasion
Love your yt btw
Homie knows he doesn’t stand a chance but he’s still risking his life
I love how Cecil puts this much trust in whoever it is that’s controlling his teleporter, and risking his neck to just stall Nolan as much as possible.
Joe Biden vs. James Jonah Jameson
Does he ever say the reason I forgot if they mentioned it cause I was wondering too after watching it, like why did he regret it if he didn’t need them
So the viltrumites can take over
Nolan was many of the viltrumite agents that get planets throughout the galaxy to serve the viltrum empire, Nolan had to prepare Earth since they were coming. When he realized Mark finally had his abilities Nolan acted quickly
imagine the guy operating the teleporter blinked at the wrong time 😂
I love Cecil can’t wait to see his future throughout the show
Joe Biden
nah that ain’t Joe Biden, this guy is intelligent and cool.
Biden has brain problems and is weird.

Cecil is actually really smart he figured out everything in basically 24hours it just took some time to do his plan can’t wait for marks blue and black suit
the balls in my throat line made me laugh too hard for such a serious scene lmao, i love cecil

The actor who voices cecil looks actually like cecil haha 😂
125M For a conversation is crazy 😂😂😂
I feel like Cecil is the embodiment of a good guy who has to always make the hard decisions and ends up being bad from time to time
I wish people realized he was holding back against the guardians, he had to make it seem like they fought an enemy strong enough to kill them all
There goes all my damn tax dollars. The most expensive conversation
My sister fighting me in Minecraft, but we're on an smp where we all have a superpower, and mine is that I can go into Spectator mode:
"They were your friends , so was i " hit hard
The guy in charge of teleporting him was on point. Dangerous game with the communication delay they would have had.
Dude operating the teleporter has crazy reaction time
I like how you can tell he actually feels bad for killing the guardians
The way he says “weak” really delivers the message that he’s turned on viltrimite mode and suppressing his feelings
Cecil acts as a heartless bastard because his job requires him to, but when Omni-man said he killed the Guardians because "they were weak", he was genuinely shocked about Nolan's coldness. Another great moment that explains Cecil's character is when he's talking with Debbie, telling her they need to be prepared in case Mark allies with his father. Debbie says: "You're a monster, this is why I hate you", and he responds: "This is why I hate myself too"
