@@largechips It was agreed when Australia was invited as a one-off guest participant in 2015, that should Australia win, the Australian broadcaster will partner with a European broadcaster and hold the next ESC in that broadcaster's European country. That continues to stand now that Australia has been allowed to continue participation since then.

It might be good, but there is no footage for non-participating countries. So it is difficult to recreate it.

Question - would Italy have returned in 2011 had Germany not won or come back at all? Could we have seen Sweden win in 2011? Would have the Baboski have been able to go to Malmö or Stockholm 2012? Personally I'd keep the status quo. I don't like Popular or Hold Me at all and I don't rate A Million Voices that much it's the weakest song in the top seven and not a patch on Heroes. It would have been nice for Cyprus and Australia to score wins though even though I like Toy better than Fuego. It's a cleverly edited video though.

in 2016, the 3rd place should have won, thanks to the politically inclined members of the jury! in 2019, I also think that Italy should have won! in 2017, certainly not Portugal, not a winner, but some kind of nightmare! and so all the good fellows! the first places were a little better, so they took the victory!

@@emrefisal7146 Actually no. Just a recent Filipino fan. The Portuguese music scene just resonates with our local music, for me. For example, last year's would be entry Medo de Sentir, if translated to Filipino (if possible) can be an OPM hit.

I agree 2015 Heroes was overrated, it was a nice song, and he sang well but it was very generic and boring compared to some others 😅Russia would have been a better winner.
I know people don’t like 2017 winner a lot but I think it was nice to have something unique and different win! And in his native language too - a better winner than 2015 for sure
