Lake District Country Walk The Langdales Lingmoor Fell from Elterwater round

- Our video is a guided walk in the Lake District from Elterwater to Lingmoor Fell, the base of Side Pike and return on the Cumbria Way by the side of Great Langdale Beck and Chapel Stile. This is a moderate walk on good paths and tracks with some minor road.
Elevation: Approx lowest point 61.10m (200.46ft) approx highest point 467.40m (1533.46ft).
Approx 7.2 miles allow 3.5 - 4 hours using OS Explorer Map’s OL6 & OL7. The English Lakes: - South-western area and South-eastern area.
Start point: Road side on the edge of Elterwater village.

I think the pub you walked by at the end of the walk was the wainwright pub. I was there about 20 years ago and the pub was great. I don’t suppose you stopped by for a pint to check it out. Great walk though as are everyone of your walks. Love the wildlife especially. Still have a way to go to watch all of your walks but am looking forward to it. Thanks again Frank
Hi Frank, thank you. Yes that was the Wainwright pub, we have been in the pub but not on this particular day when we did this walk because we are always up against time. We love the Lake District but only managed to get up there once this year when we stopped at an old coaching inn, The King's Head, opposite Thirlmere Lake on the 13th May. We sat outside eating our evening meal in the beautiful sunshine watching the sun set, fantastic. We did two wonderful walks in the area which are our latest two videos that are uploaded to CZcams and our website. We hope to be back sometime to do some more. All the best The Taxi Driver

Thanks laweffect, the Langdales are one of our favourite places in the Lakes and the area around Elterwater as the summer progresses is full of wildlife. Also there is plenty of free parking. This is a walk we do quite often when we are not filming in the Lakes. All the best The Taxi Driver
