I've done this walk once, although I didn't drop to the tarn unfortunately. Was fortunate to have Side Pike and the squeeze to myself for quite a while. Near the squeeze makes for a great quiet picnic spot. PS You lot are funny!! :-p

Never been on Lingmoor or to the tarn but both looked great, superb views all around. Looked a bit of a sketchy descent in parts over the rocks, maybe that's why Dereck went to Side Pike. The Squeeze, was a squeeze indeed, although, two Marys could have gone through at the same time! I love the view from Blea Tarn from Side Pike and a real moody skyline, to go with that 'pose' on the summit😂. Cheers Alan

Thanks Alan, sorry about the SD quality, for some reason CZcams took forever to process the HD and 4K version, so I lost patience and published anyway. It's an easy walk Alan and the views are amazing, the camera and the video do not do it justice. It's the perfect 4 mile Lakeland bimble mate, you will love it. Hopefully see you at Malham 👍

@@FatBoysonTourHikingVideos - I did wonder, as the previous video had been super crisp but the same has been happening to me over the last several videos (although the one I am putting up this afternoon was fine). SD version is done in minutes but the HD version takes forever, one video took overnight, after I had been waiting about 3 hours and it was only a 11 minute, 2K video. If you look on CZcams there is a couple of things you can do to speed it up, including screen dumping the video and send it to YT, I did this once and after 30 minutes I got the HD version. Cheers Alan

Lovely walk and video Graham. I’ve yet to do “the squeeze”. But Lingmoor is indeed a lovely fell with great views.

You will not regret it if you do it in good weather that is for sure. Great views just from Side Pike. Thanks Alan

Another good video Graham and a really nice walk. We have done the same route, but going in the opposite direction, up Side Pike first. ( Carol had no bother getting through the squeeze, ha!) You captured some stunning views. Cheers. Eddie.

Why the strange lack of back packs?

Yes Paul was the the pack horse with water and first aid. We volunteered him so we could do the 4 miler with ease. Lunch in the Three Shires.
