You’re a true outdoorsman my friend!!! Self made bow, in the swamp on a crappy day. And you snuck up on them in water which makes a lot of noise. Great job!!! Cheers from Canada!!
That's what I call Bad Ass I have been watching Mr. Robert Carter and I come across your videos and I am a new subscriber I will be watching and learning about your craft So keep them coming
@@gunghobows Yes, it is what it is. The milage on this body has been very rough, too many hard falls, a tree step broke at 14 feet in the dark, a motorcycle wreck, brain surgery, over 25 surgeries over the years, crippled foot, nearly blind in left eye, no balance or depth perception, very bad lower back and bad arthritis make it very challenging but God's grace is awesome. Besides, it could always be worse. Had a bunch of strokes when in my early 40s, had to relearn how to think, talk or do anything. Couldn't spell cat or dog, add one plus one but our Lord has blessed me slowly over the years in many ways. In spite of all of this, I can still shoot and make bows, just a lot lighter bows, 45# and lower. Life is still what we make it. I now hunt from a ground blind, usually within 50 yards of the truck and use forearm crutches to get there. But, God has blessed me to still be able to do this. With His blessings, I pass Trad along to new shooters, several shoot selfbows that I have made. I try to set them up with a bow, arrows, broadheads, quiver, arm guard and a glove plus how to use them. So you can say that God allows me to live thru others and people like you and Robert Carter. So Thanks my Brother, thanks.
