Dad sounds so much fun, the kind of guy every little girl needs. Sometimes loss comes with a double edged sword. It just takes and takes. Hugs to you

Thank you @Mutindi for sharing your heart with us. You've taught us of how vulnerability hits when loss rumbles the equilibrium of our lives and most importantly, how to believe that hope actually does exist. Rest assured, your parents are proud of you. Stay blessed mami.

Beautiful story I remember the drive in cinema how we enjoyed it as kids so so sorry for your loss. Especially the sudden demise of your mum during Lockdown. Horrible experience for the family to say goodbye from a distance. She knows you loved her. I believe that sincerely. Yes live to love and be loved as she taught you. Be blessed ❤

Above ALL ....GOD IS LOVE ...that is how we ourselves can love as he has made us in His own image & likeness. And we must grow in the latter 24/7.
Plus GOD prepared you for your Mum's exit. You just didn't appreciate it at the time.
The fact that one gets sick & also becomes an in-patient this is a sign that one may just be on their way out. We tend to assume they must get well again but this is not how life always turns out so we must see it as an opportunity to prepare ourselves for ANY eventuality no matter how unpalatable it may seem to us.
More importantly GOD gave you your Mother with a plan & mission to get married, give birth & love her neighnour as herself for HIS sake. She was merely LOANED to you for this purpose.
So yes, absolutely mourn for your mum & dad as that is the THERAPY GOD has provided.
But ask yourself if your Mum would want you to turn away from GOD ....& if "she was love" as you say then her answer would automatically be NEVER.
Offer your pain to GOD & tell HIM how you feel.....& HE will heal you & in fact has already started the process thru your friends you shared with & us on this platform.
GOD loves you & ALL HE does is LOVE & WISDOM. TRUST HIM!
