  • Just a quick video of b roll from my FX30 .... I just love the way the #MPC3000 looks in any light... music is the instrumental to "Hangman's Neckbrace" by Big Nothing on my EP "Dory And Terry Chronicles" that drops on February 16th at www.RobViktum.com and all streaming platforms.

Man, the sound that comes from this joint is just incredible. Air Flavor Pro can emulate it pretty well on the new gen MPCs, but nothing beats an original. Fire from those pads as always, brother!

If Linn was so great why didn't he just create more great ideas without Akai?
The Original 2 MPCs (60, 60II and 3K) are really the culmination of Roger Linn's ideas and Akai's technology not just some grand idea Linn had.
Probably the thing that hurt Linn the most was the success of the MPC's because it made people have high expectations of him which required $$$$ that just weren't available to him.
Not even sure the Tempest can be considered a win.
