I Finally Got The Car To A Point I Feel Like It's Trip Ready

- Holy cow, talk about a project! Firstly I'm sure Aimee of you noticed I switched back to my 215s, the 235s were just too big and made the car feel slow. I like the agile feel the 215s give me. Anyway, I had to gut the back of the car, change wiring around, install sound dampening material, build a frame for my platform, and the platform itself, then figure out how to secure cargo, installed bumpers, lights winch, new roof rack setup, the list goes on! Whew, what a task! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video!

Well alright! Looking good brother. Keep them coming.
I'm gonna be loading gear and putting the finishing touches on stuff this week, then I'll be on the road, barring I don't hit any snags 🤞🏻
Awesome additions. Looking forward to seeing more when you start your adventures. Be well…be safe.
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Ayyy you got the bumper! Looks great.
Thanks! Yeah I did, haha! I love them too :) Can't wait to trail test the new setup!
Outstanding on the build so far. It's definitely got everything under the sun and should do you for ages. 🤙🏻
Agreed! I'm pretty excited about it. And the gear I got to go along with the build should be awesome :)
This setup is absolutely fucking sick
Thank you very much! It wasn't cheap, but I'd say it was worth the $$
DUDE!!!!! Looking great!!!!
Thank you! It was a lot of work, haha!
I've got that rear bumper from him. Build was fantastic. We seem to have gotten the same add-ons
Awesome! Yeah I love mine. I wanted to mount a table on the inside, so he was nice enough to adjust his design to accommodate. I haven't bought the table yet, but it's planned!
Fun build! Love the air compressor mount.
Thanks man! Pretty stoked to get it off road and try it out.
Looking sick!
Thanks bro! It's been a long, and fun build, haha!
Nice job! Looking forward for more updates 👍🏼
Thanks man! I should be working on another video here in the next couple days.
What a nice rig! I remember your crosstrek with just one mod on it. Came a loong way now.. Keep it up! ✌🏻
Haha! Yeah it has :) I appreciate you watching this long. I am planning another video here today or tomorrow going more into detail on some of the stuff I did.
Looks crazyyyy
Haha! I can't wait to test it off road :)
Great!
If you dont already have some i would recommend some R1 concepts slotted rotors or drilled and slotted! With all that extra weight you need to make sure you can stop!
I have actually been contemplating that, though I know a guy with probably twice the weight in a 2018 Trek, and he's still running stock rotors... but yeah, it's probably in my future. Safety first and all that :)
@@TheAdventureZombie i mean for the slight price of 300 for a set of rotors and pads and double the braking capabilities its a no brainer, that person with the stock rotors is pushing it to the max and in the long run will have to pay more for pads
I totally agree with you there, haha. No idea why he hasn't changed them out yet. I'm sure I've got some in my future.
Love all the stuff on the car. Especially the spare tire swing. But have to ask you: does it conflict with the rear camera? At least on my 2019 it would.
Yes it does, it covers the camera so you basically can't see anything. Relocating my backup camera is still on my list :)
hey Adventure Zombie. sorry to keep spamming you with questions. You sold me on getting the Sport over the Limited and I finally found one for sale. You've said you recommend replacing the wheels/tires. I understand that getting grippier tires makes a lot of sense, but what do you actually gain by replacing the wheels? I also heard that if you replace the wheels you can lose your tire pressure sensors. Did you have to reinstall that? hope you're enjoying your trip!
Great video! Have you done any interior mods? Like the look of the exterior!
I did a back seat delete/platform install :)
What kind of light mounts are those at you side mirrors?
Those come from Crawford Performance. Check out the description for a link.
well it used to be a crosstrek now its a crossdectout lol
Haha! I dig it :)
