Hi guys! Today I will be giving my first impressions of the Rimowa Essential Collection luggage that I recently purchased. I will be giving my experience with purchasing this luggage through Bloomingdale’s. My opinion on best color selection, Pros and Cons and finally discussing if I feel that Rimowa luggage is worth it. The Rimowa looks a hundred times better than your TJ Maxx suitcase. I absolutely love the orange. Waiting for Papaya Orange to be released so I can finally get a Rimowa in my favorite color!
Hey Megan! I do agree that black probably would have been a smarter choice but I always think these suitcases are so much more fun in cute colors 😍😅 I have the white check in L as well and it was scratched after my first flight but I assumed that would happen and I purchased the suitcase with the idea that I would place stickers everywhere. I just wanted to warn you that the white will most likely get scratched/discolored after your travel journeys. I do have to say though that the handles have no makeup stains (something you brought up as a concern in the video) and are relatively easy to clean with soapy warm water!
The aluminums are BEAUTIFUL but they are heavier and non-flexible which was a deal breaker for me :(

Beautiful pieces! Thank you for the great information and notes on the matte finish potential for scratching, and the availability of colors online vs. in store.
The price is also for the lifetime warranty (buying it after July 2022), so that’s worth it to me. Especially since Rimowa has been bought by LVMH. So you’ll have it for a while and since it’s a limited edition color, when you do claim on the warranty, you’ll be able to choose a different color.
Good to know! I do think the lifetime warranty is a nice touch and had no idea about the limited edition colors.

Hey there, Megan. The luggage looks very pretty but, I’m sorry they’re not what you hoped they’d be. I’ve never heard of this brand before. Perhaps they will perform well when you travel with them. Does the lock closure have a key? Also, what kind of warranty do they have? I bought new luggage at the end of 2019 for a cruise we were supposed to take Fall 2020. The pandemic canceled those plans. They are designed by Samantha Brown who travels extensively. They aren’t as expensive as yours but they were the most I’ve ever paid for luggage, lol. I look forward to getting an update on them about how they hold up. Thanks for sharing!
They do offer a limited lifetime warranty so I am curious to see truly how long they hold up. There is no key just the combination lock to get in and out of the suitcase. Hopefully you get to go on your cruise soon!

I have looked into it but not as many reviews about Hybrid range. Would you recommend?
