I have the polycarbonate carry on and I’m looking to add the smaller size trunk. I’m with you on the stickers, but I’m thinking of putting the rimowa stickers on the trunk and using it more as decor when not in use.

Thank you for this lovely video! Is it easy to close with those locks? Is it true it doesn't offer much wiggle room? How does it compare to the zippers on the polycarbonate version? I don't want to get the aluminum which is already heavier and then have a problem closing it every time.
Thanks for watching! The locks are super easy to use. If I have stuffed my carry on to the brim and if you can get the suitcase to close, the locks will lock. Haven’t used the check in too much to speak on the zippers though
can you sit on it while waiting for the flight or it will bent
i dont understand how the cabin S which is smaller then the cabin (which meets airline regulation size for carry ons) got forced into check in. seems that Luftansa cournter person who forced you to check it in was straight out ignorant of the rules. would have demanded to see the manager in charge or something. only rimowa carry ons i heard is iffy is the largest cabin that rimowa has the cabin plus.
It wasn’t because it wouldn’t fit in the overhead bin, it’s because they said the overhead bins were full so they were making everyone check in their carry-ons in the later boarding groups

Depends where you buy them! If you buy in Europe they’ll most likely be made in Germany.
If you buy in Europe, the aluminum ones are made in Germany, but the polycarbonate ones are made in the Czech Republic. 😊
