Looking for healthy fish? www.michaelsfishroom.com
Yes I’m going to be looking to get some pure bread breading guppies ok not some a lot right now I have couple thousand beautiful mut guppies half are mixed. Enders and other pet store guppies man it’s crazy there tails there body’s and last there colors crazy also most of the ones coming up now are my second generation I bread from my house if you ever run low I would love to donate 5/6 dozens to michaels fish room 🐟🐠🐡👍
It’s crazy how down to earth and straightforward your videos are. Some people make this hobby sound like a PHD. Thank you for helping me
Yeah, I am what you see! Glad you like my videos!
Purchased some gold guppies from you today can’t wait for them to arrive!
Thanks!
Open container, take a portion, drop into the tank, repeat as needed 😂
You would think it was that easy.
Mike, you're fun to listen to.
Thanks!
I've learned a lot from this video, thanks Mike 👍
Glad to help
Thanks Mike. Great advise. I was always thinking if I was feeding to much. I’ll try your way and see. Cheers bro
Thanks for watching
Nice video Michael. Some people just make it so difficult.
People like to overthink things.....
Very informational! So many people mess up their water chemistry wit how they feed.
Very True!
Hey, Fishy Fox!!!! Great video!!! I have catfish in all of my tanks (with other top swimming fish). I just be sure to overfeed so enough gets down to the bottom. I do feed different stuff every time. I mean, I mix it. But only frozen foods twice a week, and always algae wafers for my Plecos. I also like Repashy. But I think it's just because I love the idea of "cooking" a meal for my fish. Heehee! I do big water changes though.
That is awesome!
The bloopers 😆🔥
Best part
Great video ❤
Thank you!!
love ur vib keep it up
Thanks!
Thanks for the video. I need to make sure Corydoras eat in comunity tank? I also feed what you feed...😊 I also add sinking pellets for corydoras but the other fish go and eat the cory food when done eating their food so the corydoras don't really get proper time to eat.
Feed the other fish on one side of the tank, when they are eating, feed the Corys on the other side.
Feel like the overthinking was a shot at me and my fb posts 😂😂😂😂 but I Also like “doing it” when it’s dark 😂
Lol
A Thanksgiving feast!!! 🔥🦃🥧💕🍞☕
Oh yes!
I already have that same shirt.
Cool
.. Feeding little is better than feeding exces and still they finish in a minute.. I just feed very little twice a day... But is it recommended to feed alternate days? Because less food is better than more
My pearl danios are piranhas 😆...but dr. B is a hit over here...great food. But I do what you do..drop pleco food just before lights out..all gone by the morning
Twins!
I have a community tank with a big gold Molly who thinks ALL the food is his . He gets the top , middle and bottom feeder food. He will even swim under any plant to take the Cory food and push them off 🐠 he’s a big meany and a fat one at that 🤣🤣🤣✅
That sucks
Hey! If i have pictus catfish (who are frenzy feeders) who steal the whole algae wafer and swim off, how to i ensure my hillstream loaches can eat them too? trying not to overthink lol
I would feed the catfish on one side of the tank, then the loaches on the other.
How about the corydoras because once i dropped the food. I have 10 neon tetras and they will immediately eat majority of the food and only few will go at the bottom. For the 7 corries
Add food for the corys at night.
My flowerhorn/ guppy community tank is difficult… my flowerhorn Fillmore seems to never be hungry and I can never find the guppies. I guess they are really good at hiding 🤷♂️
☠️
I bet they are. Have you ever read Moby Dick?
I bet they are hiding in the flowerhorns belly
👍🏻👍🏻
👍👍👍
What about if it's a community tank and there's a Koi fish that eats up the food before the other fish can eat?
Take the koi out, they don't belong in a small tank.
Couldn’t be simpler 😂
You would think....LOL
What are those white boxes on the back wall of your tank?
When?

I no this question has nothing to do with this video I’m going to be moving my 20 plus tanks from my garage to my basement I was wondering how you keep the moisture down in your fish room I do have one dehumidifier in my basement
Let me be upfront: I don't have a fish room and I would never have one in my basement because of the high chance of dampness in my climate.
You are asking this question at the right time - before you move them.
Remember that moisture in the air will condense on cold surfaces even if you can't see where this happens and over time could utterly destroy your house and your health and that is no exaggeration. Tight fitting lids will definitely help you a LOT. Make them easy to use. Heat your tanks less, or better yet not at all, rather heat the space. Dehumidifiers are good, but is yours sized correctly? You may want to insulate your basement depending on where you are. Think about installing a vapour barrier to keep the moisture IN and then ventilate adequately. Fans to remove damp air can be controlled by moisture meters. Measure your current moisture and temperature in different parts of your house before setup to give you a baseline and then routinely to give yourself advanced warning of problems. Your house heating/cooling system will govern some of your decisions.
This is a far more complex problem than it first appears and a lot of your decisions will depend on your climate, so get some professional advice even if you do all the work yourself.
After assessing exactly what you require to move your fish ask yourself again why you you want to move and given the cost and work required does the move still make sense to you. It may not anymore or it may confirm your decision.
I hope that this helps and good luck.
I use a dehumidifier.
I feed mine bacon creamed corn, scalloped potatoes, cranberry salsa, stuffing, green bean/gruyere casserole and turkey. Wait… what? Oh … thought you mean’t feeding my gut. I’m actually amazed at how little small tetras eat. Since I just started keeping small fish again instead of my clown pigs and rainbows etc; I have had to get a little itty bitty spoon rather than my teaspoon to feed. No wonder micro pellets/flakes come in small jars.
I feed Omega One; but it is disappearing everywhere. Do your sources in the industry know whether they have gone out of business? Does anyone know?
Sorry, not sure. I was never a fan. Try Ocean Nutrition from www.kjeaquatics.com
I feed the plecos and let the rest eat what they eat or not up to them!
LOL
I have another question about guppies, how I could stop them to commit su1c1de and jump out of the tank?
Put a lid on it.
Lid obviously or you could lower water level and provide lots of plant cover
@@kjeaquatics may the second one, it has a huge wood emerged
❤❤❤❤🤙🤙🤙🤙
👍👍👍👍
"açai " It's pronounced kind of like you said but without extending "iiiii" in the end.
Lol, thanks.
Doesn't the amount of food vary depending on how many fish you have? You can't feed a tiny amount to 50 fish when only 10 fish are likely to end up being able to grab the food.
And the type of food, type of fish. Angels of fish and more.
the constant need to buy food for the fishes is my least favorite part of the hobby .
this is why I believe hamsters are the best pets ...they only live 3 to 7 days and do not require food or water !
Ummm.......
People always tell me: "Don't overfeed knifefish it will reduce their lifespan!"
I feed him appropriately but the bastard has a big mouth and finishes so fast that he ends up stealing all the fiber rich pellets from my catfish (that he's not supposed to eat because the fiber isn't good for him), by the end he's got a huge belly and will probably die before his 3rd birthday.
That's about the extent of my troubles with feeding.
LOL
everybody loves bacon ...even vegans . bacon is a gateway meat.
I love bacon
