First Person 2016: Irene Weiss

  • Through the First Person program, Holocaust survivors have the opportunity to share their remarkable personal stories of hope, tragedy, and survival with thousands of visitors at the Museum. This program was recorded on May 19, 2016. It features Irene Weiss, who was born in Bótrágy, Czechoslovakia, in 1930. Irene survived Auschwitz and Ravensbrück before being liberated by Soviet forces in 1945.

    Very sweet lady who experienced such trauma at a young age. Prayers for her and her family.

    A beautiful lady, I watch her from another video where she was going to schools telling about the Holocaust,one group of girls about in the middle of the video she has so much compassion. A gorgeous young lady blonde hair, the camera zoomed in on her for it was filled with so much emotion.
    Anyway this lady is beautiful I wish I had known her, this was a few years back and she's up in years, if I don't meet her here I would sure be honored to meet her in heaven
