- Through the First Person program, Holocaust survivors have the opportunity to share their remarkable personal stories of hope, tragedy, and survival with thousands of visitors at the Museum. This program was recorded on July 31, 2019. It features Sylvia Rozines, who was born in 1935 in Lodz, Poland. On January 19, 1945, Sylvia, her sister, and her parents were liberated from the Lodz ghetto by the Soviets.
Lovely story of survival. Thank you for sharing. God bless.
Read her story “YELLOW STAR”- excellent for kids too-told from the viewpoint of her 5 to 10 year old self, authored by her niece Jennifer Roy.
She definitely went through some things...but was one of the more "fortunate" ones.
