    You shouldn't just stick the RAM where the board manufacturer recommends. They do not know your particular RAM's needs and feelings. Your super-fast RAM will let you know how it chooses to identify itself, in this case the RAM obviously self-identifies as single channel, and feels threatened if inserted too close to the CPU as CPUs have been known to gang-stalk RAM sticks in the past. To insert it any other way would be disrespectful to the RAM, and by all means a microaggression which further perpetuates the RAM patriarchy and the associated oppression that it brings.

From the UEFI screen you can adjust your fan speed, so that when your PC is idling at the desktop it'll be quiet, but having it ramp up the fan rpm when playing a demanding game. If you use your gpu's firmware that come with downloading it's drivers(that you should keep up to date) you can monitor the Temps in your gpu, so you can see if it's too hot or not and adjust your in-game graphics settings. You should avoid Temps over 90°C.

    Other things that went horribly wrong:
    1. He didn't attach the fans to the radiator. You can clearly see one of them is being used as an exhaust fan for the case.
    2. He didn't use his "tweezers" to manage the cables.
    3. He didn't use the Allen wrench for anything. Not that he needed to, but he did say it was absolutely essential.
    4. Arma 3 runs at 70-80fps on 1080p on highest settings on my GTX960. It's not anything that would tax that gfx card.
    5. He's playing against bots in LoL and thinks he's cool. In reality, he's getting wrecked by bots.
    6. 300 fps on LoL? Well, that's nice, but I bet he's only got a 60Hz monitor.

    25:22 "So right now I'm playing league of legends, It's one of my favourite games"
    As a league player I would like to point out:
    You don't (can't) spam buttons. You have four abilities, meaning the player would usually keep 3-4 fingers on the qwe, qwer or 1234 keys, instead of holding his entire hand up and only pressing 1.
    Ignoring the fact he's playing yasuo in the bot lane, he clearly doesn't understand how to use abilities. this can be seen from how during the recording you can clearly see that he was trying to spam a ability judging from the notice prompt above his ability UI that repeated "the ability is not ready yet!" and "you cannot cast that right now!". Yet he continued to spam the same goddamn key. Nope im out.

    • @jeremytrees7266
      @jeremytrees7266 Před 4 lety +2

      @harrythebarry by going dual Channel AKA being in the Right Slots with multiple sticks, you're essentially doing the same thing as hyper threading or multi-threading. But if you put it in the wrong slot you lose that capability not to mention your PC may not even start. Of course if your PC only has two slots then it's not difficult to know which one to use.

    • @jeremytrees7266
      @jeremytrees7266 Před 4 lety +2

      @harrythebarry the instruction manual LOL. In a 4 slot motherboard it will usually be the one farthest from the CPU and the one two to the left, as the first two that should be used. If it is 8 motherboard then you should probably ignore the 4 to the left of the CPU and apply the same logic As the step above. A 2 slot motherboard is obvious and if you're using only one stick of RAM then simply put it in the slot marked number one, which is usually farthest to the right of the CPU. But again this may vary from motherboard to motherboard so check your manual to be sure.

    1) Anti-static bracelet is useless. And sometimes it can even harm someone who collects. (Modern motherboards have a range of static protection)
    2) It is better to install the processor before placing the motherboard in the case, since it will be very inconvenient to install it with the cooler inside.
    3) The choice of a case for a $ 2000 computer is wrong. Ventilation is weak.

Taking something like Warhammer: Total War off the SSD makes the game almost unplayable. 15 minute load times between starting a battle and loading into the battle map.. there's a lot of battles you're going to have to do over a Warhammer campaign.. not viable. Anything open world where you have to keep loading more resources into memory? Why would you settle for HDD speeds on that.
