- This car is so awesome, while you are driving it! The only thing, you have to be calm and patient, once you're upon it, you're gonna love new Outback. Insanely quiet car from chassis. #subaru #mmautomotive #muldix
I deleted my original comment as I have grown to like this car. It DOESNT need a turbo, the NA engine will last longer. Its quick enough for whats its designed to do. Its a heavy car, and so long as you know how to use CVT properly then it gets you along perfectly well. Its not an RS6, its not meant to be. I really think a lot of people have no idea what Subaru is about these days. They watch videos like this and say OMG ITS SLOW. Educate yourselves. Its an excellent car for every lifestyle, every weather and road condition. Its styling is odd compared to the previous model (which I had) but it is what it is. Some people complain about the fuel economy, everyone wants 70mpg hybrid now or electric crap but if you can afford to buy this car then you're not going to worry about the fuel cost are you. Would last me ten years one of these. Job done.
Incredibly refined and stable
*I like how it seems quiet inside. 🎥 Looks comfortable too*
It goes on rails over the Road, amazing!
your reaction at 2.23 says all about the stability of the subiiiiiisssss
I don't know if I could get used to old people driving style, but it actually looks surprisingly fine for the price. Pretty roomy, if it's not too noisy at 140 kph it could be good enough for long distance travel too.
Super video😁😃👍🚗
Nový Outback vyzerá krásne + TOP intro 😍👌
Mal som dosť veľké šťastie, mohol som v ňom sedieť. Naživo to auto pôsobí výborne, hlavne interiér 😍
Teším sa na recenziu
We just got the Ascent. The motor and trans are solid. Great pick up. This little thing will fly with that package.
This is the only video of the new Outback that shows a max-speed run, well done. Most people complain about the engine not being powerful enough and the rather slow run and official claim of 10.2 seconds 0-100. When I use the stop watch to take the time, I am seeing a 0-100 time of under 9 seconds. Am I measuring this wrong? Under 9 seconds is fairly acceptable with the CVT and all. Also, the 0-200 run around 35 seconds seems quicker than a Volvo XC60 D5 with 200+ horses. Or is the Outback in this video doing the v-max run all the way downhill? :D
I wanted to say the same thing. Maybe this car is not a king of acceleration, but it rules in the corners. AND it is still a fantastic off-roader. I LOVE IT
We have a 2022 outback XT which has a WRX engine and it does 0-60 in around 6 seconds
Hey at least you're not limited to the pavement it the road situation gets super dire. You trade agility for capability. You go where the road rager can't.
@@exoticdynamite9047 Not in Europe
this acceleration time for the familiy car is more than enough
Ten zvuk při rozjíždění nádhera no jo boxer :-)
Excelente test bro... saludos
I just bought one. I just love it! The turn signals hypnotic.
I want this car!!!!!!!!!!!!
It doesn't look too slow at all... A car gets from 0-100 in 10 seconds and it's "dangerously slow" while another that does it in 8.5 seconds is "reasonably nippy" 😂. Do people really not have 1.5 seconds to spare? But still I'd want a bit of extra power for the ride enjoyment.
It is actually around 9. And you never need that in real life. What you need is 60-80-100 to be quick, for safe overpassing. And it is in the average range for the class. It is not 100k car.
I found this engine to be much louder on acceleration vs the 2019 2.5
The thing with this car is you dont need to floor it to make good progress. I had the previous shape, its a big comfortable relaxing car for all road and weather conditions. it really isn’t the sort of car for driving like a sports car because it isnt one. Not really sure why its being driven so hard in this video. Most buyers wouldnt be doing this.
Is this the non turbo version?
Super auto.
Really like that car for its capabilities and the way it looks. Wanted to buy one at least few times. But equally like all those cock and bull stories - it’s not quick but drives well, has no acceleration and is thirsty like V8 but is comfortable. I drive 8 yrs old audi A6 allroad . Gets me everywhere , meets my lifestyle sports, is fast when needed, quiet and very good on fuel ….no repairs so far just annual maintenance service. So I believe that Subaru simply misses that thing . Price gap is not that siginificant and does not justify poor engine and even poorer powertrain
Is it noisy In the car’s cabin when you on max speed?
I a great car. How many horsepower have?
Ty voe to je uplne zdechly. Skvely auto, skoda ze to vubec nejede
Impressive thing is handling at 200 km/hr STABLE. Its not even Turbo engine
Super.
Wow
Nezamavat na řidiče Outbacku v 5:23 :-(
🤣
What country r u from?
Is that the same engine available in North America ? 182 horsepower .
169hp in Europe
Radilo to vôbec medzi tým?
Inak má virtuálne stupne a vie si radiť.
místo zvyšování otáček převodovka plynule měnila převodový stupeň a otáčky zůstaly konstantní. To je to kouzlo, co my dokážeme :-) (teda převodovka CVT)
A jak tedy mám zajet nové auto, abych nezničil motor v těch vysokých otáčkách?
Šlapat jemně na plyn :-)
Ono to nejde přes 3-4 tisíce, pokud člověk jezdí plynule.
@@muldix Díky.😀
How noisy is this car? I need to buy a car with less noisy sound when you drive it.
Buy an electric car then

som zvedavy ci ten inovovany motor bude uspornejsi. Skoda ze novy Levorg s 1.8 T do EU asi nedorazi.
i love cvt
Vypada velice kvalitně.
Introš je mňam, je to tak!
I thought it simulated 8 gears
It is, but if you are on it and pressing full gas, it's normal CVT belike :-)
@@muldix But on the Forester or the Impreza it sill fakes 7 gears
@@riccardotaccolinimoncosi7435 if you start by pressing the brake and accelerator, it doesn't (for the forester)
Kannst du auch sprechen!? Klaus grüßt.
Haha
For sure!!
Klaus.
Ta převodovka působí hrozně “nervózně” 🤔
Neee, ona je klidnej kámoš :-)
Je to CVTčko
Test drove one already because really planned on buying 2021 model as the earlier model was painfully underpowered and boy no refinement can compensate the lack of real world performance. This car has the same problem - it is dangerously slow and stressed when pushed. What they are trying to be? Something between lexus and toyota but with offroad ability? Because it feels exactly like hybrid corolla, slow and stressed when pushed with fuel economy worse than any euro wagon when working harder than cruising. They can not meet any euro emission standard so they won’t give us that 2.4 turbo only this clogged 2.5 that sounds like a dishwasher. Most probably will get a superb scout or import usdm outback/ascent because this ‘new 2.5’ pulls like my 55kw 1.6 workhorse peugeot partner. I wish I never sold my 2001 h6 outback. Subarus are great cars but they suffer from product placement schizophrenia.
The car engine is not stressed, unlike you perhaps judging by your negative, ill informed rant. Its not a sports car. If its not quick enough for you, id be asking why you need to go fast, on public roads, with speed limits. Hey guess what, I can keep up with traffic and go on motorways in 1 litre cars with 70 bhp. No problem. The only time you need power is to compensate for a lack of driving ability. You think it gives you the right to cut in front of other road users at the last second, or you think it will save you an hour on your commute by tailgating and breaking the limit. It doesnt. I see it every day. People dont learn.
@@oddities-whatnot I actually drove it and I am not a BMW driver so that is you who is ill informed. I do not know where you live but a car with an awful real world fuel consumption and unmatching performance can not be respected as a well rounded product in Europe. You can not overtake lorries safely with it and world's most hated manufacturer VW can give you a car at that price that also has AWD but with 5-6liter per 100km fuel consumption and 7 seconds to 100. Technical aspects might differ but it will be the same package for the final user. I am a devote Subaru customer and postponed my new car purchase just to wait what I could get with 2021 model but the engine option turned me away. They promised 2.4T but could not meet any standards with it here and just decided not to talk about their engine at all.
@@extrasystole You're mentioning that you're a "devoted Subaru customer" ,I don't think so. Iff you want a fast car don't look at this kind of car,it's mented to be a kind of multipurpose car,a little from everything and looking it from that perspective, it's not a bad car at all.
Iff you think that a car from the Volkswagen group is a better product, you're making a huge mistake, the Subaru is still working when you're already busy with your third Volkswagen.
@@marinusmourik9494 Both you and Simon misunderstand what huehue is trying to point out. He says the engine is too weak to overtake other cars and lorries safely with. No one wants to spend more time than necessary in the opposing lane. Subaru seems to have met EU regulations by compromising engine power instead of making it more effecient. It's not about tailgating or driving fast like you and Simon make it sound like. Huehue has a point!
@@johanmarnfeldt5262 I understood him very well when he mentioned that overtaking lorries will take to long. Don't know where he's living but in the countries where I live I don't have any problem to do,highways,B roads or dirt roads.
Even going up in the mountains it's no problem and believe me,lorries are having here a speed of around 120 km.
Offcours there are faster cars but as I mentioned before, it's a kind of multipurpose car, everything which is made with that in mind has limitations.
I want to challenge everyone that says these are good cars to then go try the audi or mercedes at higher speeds than 100 km/h ... this crapbox is so much wind noise, it feels like you are steering a boat and all the warning systems are shit and the infotainment is from a Nintendo console from 1999. Everything feels cheap, hard plastics, thin doors, no sound insulation.. holy shit, Im telling you, go test drive an audi and then go test drive this and come back telling me its the same experience. Try it at 130-170 km/h .. in the audi it feels like you're staying still at those speeds, in this you feel like if you had two wings on the sides it would lift off. Up to 90 km/h ok, but after that its horrible experience.
Great car, I drive to work on the German Autobahn every day 40km With 180kmh easy style no noise nothing.Better than my Mercedes C400, which was in the workshop more than driving.
German cars are built to break
