- Wrestling is a way of life in Dagestan, a region in southern Russia which produces many of the sport's world champions.
It is not only the number one sport there, but also a way to keep young men away from gang violence and illegal drugs.

I really like how the dagestani brothers follow the sunnah of prophet muhamed pbuh. These are the sports we really need in life: wrestling swimming, mma, throwing and horse riding not like our authorities who builds complex for nonsense soccer. We need our govt to teach our kids just like dagestani did.

It's so nice to hear what they said on 2:42. Here in Brazil , it is very hard to find a wrestling gym. We have BJJ in almost every corner , but not wrestling. I would love to train wrestling. It would help a lot on BJJ. Dagestani wrestling is way better than american wrestling.
