I read "The Tumours Made Me Interesting" by Matthew Revert and that was just too bizarre for, what I felt like, no reason. I read it because I did like "Basal Ganglia" by him and thought I might like some of his other works, but no, I'm ok. Side note: I love all your tastes and book reviews!!
@ronibunni6420 So the tumours didn't make it interesting? 🤭 And thanks, that's so nice. I know I have niche interests, but I'm so happy that others like them too (from all around the world) 🥰
My first Darcy Coates was also terrible (Voices in the Snow), but I've heard such great things about her as an author so I'll definitely give her a second chance! I think you should too haha just don't choose Voices in the Snow!
@michellesmelancholia Will do! Maybe I'll do From Below (the sea one), and if it sucks I'll be done. But definitely NOT Voices in the Snow. Thanks for the forewarning!
