  • Change has quickly become a FOUR letter word in the land of Autism... not that it's ever been easy, but the constant change of all aspects of children's lives has truly rocked the world of children with Autism EVERYWHERE!
    Change is something that's very difficult for almost everyone... this is a proven fact.
    However, children with Autism thrive off of schedules; they require consistency and do NOT do well when these two necessities are broken.
    So when schools close, open, close again, open again, and finally close... this massive unknown throws these poor children for quite a loop!
    As a parent of a child with Autism, what can you do to offset this barrage of crippling change we are all experiencing today?
    As parents of an amazing six-year-old child with Autism and muscular dystrophy... we have tried a LOT!
    We've failed a lot... but have found a few things that work wonders!

    Hello!
    Thank you so much for your helpful videos regarding Special Ed, I would like to learn about the mental health of children with special needs during this time of COVID 19 and how can we address these issues, It is somewhat similar to the video however the video only tackled on children with ASD. How about the other children with exceptionalities and other disabilities?
