Came here to see how the rail gun was holding up and what the difficulty ten looked like for bots (only done bugs on this difficulty so far) and I was shocked with both the positivity in the face of all the complaints going around and some of the best advice I have received in a long time, thank you.
I think it's probably the best gun against Automatons at the moment. Due to the giant amount of Hulks and Berserkers, probably the AMR beats it but it's definitely up there! Also Gunships are no longer a problem for the Railgun, which was probably it's main caveat. Yeah I prefer to stick to the things I'm enjoying and focusing on the positive, I don't think anyone needs help being negative 🫣. You're more than welcome @pickledcucumber5125 !

Great video, I started using the railgun for the first time because I saw you using it in some streams and I love it. Also, I liked the bits in the video where you cut out footage and showed where you went on the map instead. I think that's ultimately more helpful and informative than just showing sped up footage of you running between objectives!
Awesome Cube! It's an amazing gun honestly. Difficulty 10 has indirectly buffed it against Automatons I would say, due to the giant amount of Hulks and Berserkers. Hey, I have a suggested loadout for bugs, works great solo or with teammates. Armor: B-08 Light Gunner (Light) Backpack: Shield Generator (Hunters and Stalkers are the #1 enemy to this build, this backpack's sole role is to aid you with incoming jumping hunters or full speed charging Stalkers) Primary: Scorcher (use ONLY for shooting butt of Chargers, accuracy is incredibly important with this over raw fire rate against the Chargers) Secondary: Grenade Pistol (save for bug holes and broadcast towers) Support Weapon: Arc Thrower (use for small and medium units, has a steep learning curve with aiming but its amazing and one of the best weapons in the game for crowd clear. You NEED the ship module upgrade for max damage. Keep your distance from enemies and always shoot the enemy closest to you first) Grenade: Stun (save for emergency escapes, or to stop Chargers if you have no time to pull out the Scorcher. If you dive just before the stun grenade goes off you will not be stunned, even if you do get stunned you can still dive away to safety as the enemies remain stationary) Stratagems: Orbital Precision/Orbital Gas/500 KG (Depending on mission type, if you think you'll have more Bug Breaches pick Precision + Gas. If you think you'll have more Bile Titans/Impalers to deal with pick Precision + 500 KG) Absolutely goated strategy, would love to see you try it in a video. Let me know what you think. -Rob

Fun fact I suppose (a theory): The belief is that laziness and intellect are directly correlated to eachother. The idea being that your brain knows it shouldn't waste unnecessary energy. So any energy it can save, it will. Therefore, to stop being "lazy" requires finding value. Roughly translated, your brain won't do it if it doesn't think it's worth it. Since it believes you'll die to a lack of energy (starvation) if you waste too much energy. Fun theories I suppose. TL;DR Thank you! Enjoy the guns. Lazy means smart, probably.

I almost always run explosive resistance armor vs bots. Great video, I like the tips. Phacilbounce has been added to the lexicon. EDIT: fully agreed about choosing happiness through work, philosophy, and focus on long-term over short-term. Especially in video games.

Came for Helldivers, stayed for procrastination therapy Also if you want a silly build, do crossbow, senator, laser cannon, ballistic shield. It's not the greatest but it's funny and can easily deal with hulks and gun ships
Only thing I didn't like were the loud popup noises don't care for them in general, but great video, great tips, gameplay and life advice definitely checking out some more from you even if it's just gameplay

I still didn't do super helldive despite unlocking it, playing difficulty 9 reminded me I prefer sticking to difficulty 7 solo. simply because long cooldown on bot drops allow me to play the way I like, staying in one place and defending against waves of bots! also I don't get how people think the railgun needs a buff, especially now that it gets gunships
That's the most important part honestly, playing the game you wanna play it so you can enjoy it the most. FOMO is an awful phenomenon, if not careful you'll turn sour real quick. Props to you for sticking to your guns! I agree. I think the Railgun is in a more than solid place.
If the devs could fix the aiming bug so that you have a proper aiming reticule to work with, that'd be great. Watching you struggle to hit these devastators at 21:33 was so frustrating because I've had this happen so many times lol. It's clear you can easily hit them all, you're just fighting against your own equipment.
I'd agree with you a couple years ago. I once got to shoot guns and being a complete amateur I noticed that lining up a shot is actually quite difficult. And although I think realism is a silly argument, it does make it so I don't mind so much. And ofcourse I prefer focusing on the stuff I enjoy. Good points you make altogether. 7:40 One thing I'll add as a part of my learned experience. Never underestimate how little the task needs to be for you to start. You need to start small *and that is okay* . Sometimes you don't think you have the drive to get a sentence done, or even a word, so you never open the essay. The solution: Make the act of opening the essay your two minute task. Got that down? good, you can start now, you're on a roll already ☺ I'll also add because you added that perfectionism bit, this helps a lot. choose a task you fundamentally cant get wrong to get you going, that way you break the ice on your paralysis, hence the opening of the document being the focus and not any writing

I don't use it often because I don't really have a spot for it but I think the orbital gas strike is actually pretty good against bots now. It already was ok but specifically in situations like 15:09, the number of berserkers coming at phacil over his cover is pushing him away. If he had a gas strike and threw it where he was positioned before getting pushed off the entire line of berserkers would have run through it causing them to either die or be easy one shot kills
I've heard people enjoy the Orbital Gas against bots before, I probably just need to experiment with it more. I will admit I feel difficulty 10 bots requires at least two stratagems to answer Tanks / Factory Striders and such. Will test, thank you 2iq!

I only run difficulty 10 and before that 9. I usually run the AMR over the railgun, just because I like the scope and the distance it provides. Also run the DCS as my primary. Nothing beats one tapping devastors in the head with it. I used to run explosive resist but now I run the stealth infiltrator armor. So easy to avoid random patrols with it. Nice being able to pick my battles on a ground of my own choosing.
@ryanjoseph4806 I think the AMR is better than the Railgun, I enjoy the Railgun more though. By better I mean, more effective and/or efficient. DCS is awesome haha! Definitely agreed on the one tapping feeling. Stealth is the most effective approach to this game, I enjoy randomly shooting stuff too much unfortunately. Makes me happy, definitely not the best for mission success rate though. Stealth is a good choice there! 🫡
Great video. Though, sometimes I wonder how curated these solo videos are. I've been doing a lot of soloing and struggle hard. Like one time I had a mission where there were 3 gun ship fabricators and one jammer. The jammer was in between the gunship fabricators. Like, well within visual range. Ever tried to take out a jammer with several bot drops coming in and 8 gunships coming for you at the same time? Makes you really lose confidence in your ability to solo. I feel like you should be able to solo anything and yet this one makes you think sometimes it's literally impossible. Another time, there were two jammers and all of the main objectives were between the jammers. The map was laid out in such a way that there any encampments all around them, so you couldn't really move about easily without aggroing everything. The ground even had barbed wire and contact minds strewn about in the most random places, along with roving gunship patrols. Like, how are you supposed to handle that? With jammers, you're basically SOL in terms of your ability to use red stratagems. But your red stratagems are what you really rely on when there's 40-50 enemies swarming you and the terrain is horrendously not in your favour. Which is likely to be the case in the above scenarios I've described. And this sort of thing happens. But tbh, this video hits deep for reasons other than cool Helldiver tips. You're dropping some S-Tier life advice here. 5/5 stars.
I only post runs that I think are entertaining to watch. So they are definitely curated. Please don't be disheartened that you get impossible missions from time to time. That's not a you problem, it's an RNG problem. The beauty is that even that you can learn to overcome, if you stay motivated. When soloing, I succeed at about 80% of all my missions. When I started soloing, more like 30%. The goal of these videos for me is to show what you are capable of if you set your mind to it. So I hope that's what you get from it mostly. I add things from my life experience because I believe the two are connected (mindset and game skill). So I'm very happy you liked the life lessons, thank you for taking the time to write an elaborate comment. TL;DR Yes, I pick videos that are fun to watch. The videos I fail at I can post if you'd like, but they look the same as you think they would. Keep your head high sir 🫡
While it's difficult to justify using something other than the grenade pistol I like taking the redeemer against bots since it lets you take an explosive primary while still having a consistent answer against the occasional melee bots. The main reason I use it though is because of the insane dps it has against berserkers specifically, if you land all your shots (which is pretty easy since the berserkers get close to you on their own) you can get about one and a half berserkers per clip with just a secondary weapon, could be useful with the increased berserker spawns in super helldive. Love the videos, hoping to see a super helldive vs bugs soon!
I bring the senator for a similar reason, not the explosive primary, but the dps against berserkers. Plus if you can time your shot with the sway of their body you can one shot them to the face, which I found you can also do from close range with the grenade pistol if the grenade bounces off them. This however also led to the grenade killing it, then flying back and exploding on my head so I wouldn't recommend it
The Redeemer was my go-to before I got used to the Grenade Pistol. I think that mindset is very potent, choosing your guns relative to eachother I mean. I agree that with all the Berserkers now, arguably the Redeemer is gonna find a good place! Thank you for the compliment Daimond! I'll see what I can muster up on the Terminid side 🫡

My i recommend a load out Med kit armour Sickle Grande pistol Laser cannon Supply pack Stun grenades Hmg emplcement Orbital precision strike The med kit passive is the best passive in the game when used correctly don't use stims as heals only use them as a panic button get out of jail free card an invincibleilty tool or a tool for aggression laser cannon is just a good bot weapon and so is the sickle the grenade pistol to destroy fabricators and stun grenades for hulks The hmg emplcement is for when a bot drop happens call it down and rattle all the bots that arrive you can stim on the hmg emplcement the supply pack gives an extra 8 stims

It's still better to dive than to go prone as you have a higher chance of getting shot if you prone on the same spot versus moving away from it with a dive. As a stealth diver with 0 stims, it has kept me alive multiple times long enough to get to a stim box.
I think that's a good argument, I notice they aim for your torso much more than your feet. So by going prone you dodge most bullets and can stim faster (since you can't stim midair). I also have a bad habit of landing on pebbles that make me ragdoll. Thank you for the disagreement though, shows there is definitely more than one way to Rome! 😃
Super hell dive on the termanids mission is fun with a crossbow, jump pack, rail gun, airstrike, and precision strike. I’ve been trying to change up my stratagems and weapons because i got in a rut. Anywho using the pack to get on high ground and take out half of the super nests is so satisfying, plus it’s good for getting away from those pests
I used to be an EAT type weapon and supply pack kind of guy with impact grenades or an auto cannon with 2 eagles and an orbital but playing with totally different loadouts this week has been a damn blast
I am very unaccustomed to the Crossbow, but it definitely has potential. Specially since it can close nests and fabricators! And that is probably the best moral of the story, having fun is easy to do if you're willing to add variety. So experiment away! 😃

I've been running with the supply pack a lot lately. When I'm playing solo, it's so nice to basically have a supply drop stratagem strapped to your back at all times. When I'm playing with randoms, they usually go off on their own and call in supply drops without telling me where, so I need to supply myself anyway.
I think the Supplypack is the strongest backpack in the game. The beauty is I know many disagree with me, which should mean that the game is fairly well balanced! 😃 Glad you are enjoying it also, thank you for posting @ShinobiNeon! 🙏

Thank you sir! I use unsafe, I prefer the extra damage. And also just enjoy the gameplay in regards to timing your shots as perfectly as you can. Yes, the Railgun now takes out Gunships with 2-3 bullets. Used to be alot more (I believe like 6-7). So Gunships are officially not a problem for the Railgun anymore.
Yeah I did @ilayfedorenko9713 ! I think it has to do with all the Hulks / heavy units taking up their "slots". So there was too many big units for the game to throw Heavy Devastators at me as well. That is my best guess anyway! 🫡
Yes sir/ma'am! Yeah the Scorcher is phenomenal against Automatons, always has been I think. Is it 8 post-patch? I don't use the Scorcher often, but the Gunships got nerfed defensively. Thank you for the input and the comment!
Consider swapping to the Plasma Punisher rather than the Punisher. It can do AOE damage to multiple bots, doesn't require you to aim for heads, staggers, and it has WAY more effective range than the punisher, once you get used to the ballistic arc. You can even loop your shots over cover to hit bots while you're safe. It's insane how good this gun is for bots, basically the perfect weapon as long as you're not fighting the bots point blank, in which case you'll hit yourself while not being able to oneshot heads like the Punisher can. But fighting bots point blank is suicide anyways; the plasma punisher is near perfect in every other situation.
I've heard this one before, I'll be honest it feels very weird for me to not aim at their heads 🫣. I will agree that the Plasma Punisher is a fantastic gun though! Maybe one day it'll become more my style, never say never 🫡
This is what I like to see. Reddit is full of a verbal minority, bitching and moaning about game balance when in reality, they just bloody suck at the game & should not be playing in difficulty 9 or 10

Wonderful comment, thank you for that! I think difficulty 10 Terminids requires prioritizing Alpha Commanders now a days. They spawn Alpha Warriors really fast, between Hunters and Alpha Warriors it's very easy to get overwhelmed. The hard part is that Alpha Warriors have a tendency to retreat, so you have to kill them asap. That's probably the best tip for now! 🫡
It's part of it I think, I don't mind too much. I can imagine it looks very spooky though! Thank you for the empathy. There are plenty of guns that handle them better than the Railgun to be fair, I do quite enjoy the way they get torn in half when you blast the abdomen though 🫣
is it sure it was a video on helldivers? as far as I understand it is necessary to say what developers are dummies and that everything in the game is wrong and the game is dead, and here somehow shows good gameplay and gives sound advice.
Haha, definitely not necessary. Our mind has a tendency to enjoy observing disaster, so most videos will be about disaster (just like news articles). I'm now sure Fortresses come in different layouts, mine didn't have a detector tower. The 3 ones I've done on non-icy planets have a rocky part behind them, that you can climb and sneak in from the rear. Still gotta be mindful that some canon turrets can 360° to shoot inside the fortress while dealing with the fabs. The only thing I'm disappointed about is the data being worth so few samples x) maybe because it was a hellish extraction the first time we got it.
Yeah they definitely do. I think the hard part is just that, making sure you don't randomly get surprised by a Towercannon / Bunkerturret shot. There's enough cover to handle the bots, it's mostly the cannons that are troublesome I think. I am always the optimist, unfortunately I am inclined to agree with you. I hoped they'd introduce a new currency of some form, giving us a whole new thing to work for. We'll see how it works out though, they've been good about handling feedback for the most part. And I believe they have a feedback form on their Discord now? So good things altogether.
Confirmation bias is very prominent on social media. We all like to believe what we want to believe, facts and counter arguments don't change that on average. 2:13 lol you're not wrong to assume that most light infantry got swapped out for Berserkers, imo I don't mind a couple but when they chase you 10-15 at a time with how tanky even 1 of them is it starts to become a problem.
Yeah difficulty 10 is basically Zerker/Hulk mode haha. I do think that it might make it easier in alot of regards though, as mentioned in the video. I was noticing I was constantly paranoid where all the dropships were. Only to realize that Zerkers and Hulks don't call in dropships. So we'll see how we feel about that as time passes 🫣

Yeah for sure. I feel like this might be the first time I ever feel like Terminids are harder than Automatons, but ofcourse that's just also just an opinion. You should! Difficulty 10 is nice though, I enjoy all the heavies honestly. It's a different dynamic, so mostly fun. Enjoy @spectywecty !

Came here to see how the rail gun was holding up and what the difficulty ten looked like for bots (only done bugs on this difficulty so far) and I was shocked with both the positivity in the face of all the complaints going around and some of the best advice I have received in a long time, thank you.
I think it's probably the best gun against Automatons at the moment. Due to the giant amount of Hulks and Berserkers, probably the AMR beats it but it's definitely up there! Also Gunships are no longer a problem for the Railgun, which was probably it's main caveat.

Great video, I started using the railgun for the first time because I saw you using it in some streams and I love it.
Also, I liked the bits in the video where you cut out footage and showed where you went on the map instead. I think that's ultimately more helpful and informative than just showing sped up footage of you running between objectives!
Awesome Cube! It's an amazing gun honestly. Difficulty 10 has indirectly buffed it against Automatons I would say, due to the giant amount of Hulks and Berserkers. So this is definitely the time to get into Railgunning if you haven't!

Hey, I have a suggested loadout for bugs, works great solo or with teammates.
Armor: B-08 Light Gunner
(Light)
Backpack: Shield Generator
(Hunters and Stalkers are the #1 enemy to this build, this backpack's sole role is to aid you with incoming jumping hunters or full speed charging Stalkers)
Primary: Scorcher
(use ONLY for shooting butt of Chargers, accuracy is incredibly important with this over raw fire rate against the Chargers)
Secondary: Grenade Pistol
(save for bug holes and broadcast towers)
Support Weapon: Arc Thrower
(use for small and medium units, has a steep learning curve with aiming but its amazing and one of the best weapons in the game for crowd clear. You NEED the ship module upgrade for max damage. Keep your distance from enemies and always shoot the enemy closest to you first)
Grenade: Stun
(save for emergency escapes, or to stop Chargers if you have no time to pull out the Scorcher. If you dive just before the stun grenade goes off you will not be stunned, even if you do get stunned you can still dive away to safety as the enemies remain stationary)
Stratagems: Orbital Precision/Orbital Gas/500 KG
(Depending on mission type, if you think you'll have more Bug Breaches pick Precision + Gas. If you think you'll have more Bile Titans/Impalers to deal with pick Precision + 500 KG)

Fun fact I suppose (a theory): The belief is that laziness and intellect are directly correlated to eachother. The idea being that your brain knows it shouldn't waste unnecessary energy. So any energy it can save, it will. Therefore, to stop being "lazy" requires finding value. Roughly translated, your brain won't do it if it doesn't think it's worth it. Since it believes you'll die to a lack of energy (starvation) if you waste too much energy. Fun theories I suppose.

I almost always run explosive resistance armor vs bots. Great video, I like the tips. Phacilbounce has been added to the lexicon. EDIT: fully agreed about choosing happiness through work, philosophy, and focus on long-term over short-term. Especially in video games.

Also if you want a silly build, do crossbow, senator, laser cannon, ballistic shield. It's not the greatest but it's funny and can easily deal with hulks and gun ships

I still didn't do super helldive despite unlocking it, playing difficulty 9 reminded me I prefer sticking to difficulty 7 solo. simply because long cooldown on bot drops allow me to play the way I like, staying in one place and defending against waves of bots!
also I don't get how people think the railgun needs a buff, especially now that it gets gunships
That's the most important part honestly, playing the game you wanna play it so you can enjoy it the most. FOMO is an awful phenomenon, if not careful you'll turn sour real quick. Props to you for sticking to your guns!

If the devs could fix the aiming bug so that you have a proper aiming reticule to work with, that'd be great. Watching you struggle to hit these devastators at 21:33 was so frustrating because I've had this happen so many times lol. It's clear you can easily hit them all, you're just fighting against your own equipment.
I'd agree with you a couple years ago. I once got to shoot guns and being a complete amateur I noticed that lining up a shot is actually quite difficult. And although I think realism is a silly argument, it does make it so I don't mind so much. And ofcourse I prefer focusing on the stuff I enjoy. Good points you make altogether. 7:40 One thing I'll add as a part of my learned experience. Never underestimate how little the task needs to be for you to start. You need to start small *and that is okay* . Sometimes you don't think you have the drive to get a sentence done, or even a word, so you never open the essay. The solution: Make the act of opening the essay your two minute task. Got that down? good, you can start now, you're on a roll already ☺
I'll also add because you added that perfectionism bit, this helps a lot. choose a task you fundamentally cant get wrong to get you going, that way you break the ice on your paralysis, hence the opening of the document being the focus and not any writing

I don't use it often because I don't really have a spot for it but I think the orbital gas strike is actually pretty good against bots now. It already was ok but specifically in situations like 15:09, the number of berserkers coming at phacil over his cover is pushing him away. If he had a gas strike and threw it where he was positioned before getting pushed off the entire line of berserkers would have run through it causing them to either die or be easy one shot kills
I've heard people enjoy the Orbital Gas against bots before, I probably just need to experiment with it more. I will admit I feel difficulty 10 bots requires at least two stratagems to answer Tanks / Factory Striders and such. Will test, thank you 2iq!

I only run difficulty 10 and before that 9. I usually run the AMR over the railgun, just because I like the scope and the distance it provides. Also run the DCS as my primary. Nothing beats one tapping devastors in the head with it. I used to run explosive resist but now I run the stealth infiltrator armor. So easy to avoid random patrols with it. Nice being able to pick my battles on a ground of my own choosing.
@ryanjoseph4806 I think the AMR is better than the Railgun, I enjoy the Railgun more though. By better I mean, more effective and/or efficient. DCS is awesome haha! Definitely agreed on the one tapping feeling.
Stealth is the most effective approach to this game, I enjoy randomly shooting stuff too much unfortunately. Makes me happy, definitely not the best for mission success rate though. Stealth is a good choice there! 🫡
Great video. Though, sometimes I wonder how curated these solo videos are. I've been doing a lot of soloing and struggle hard. Like one time I had a mission where there were 3 gun ship fabricators and one jammer. The jammer was in between the gunship fabricators. Like, well within visual range. Ever tried to take out a jammer with several bot drops coming in and 8 gunships coming for you at the same time? Makes you really lose confidence in your ability to solo. I feel like you should be able to solo anything and yet this one makes you think sometimes it's literally impossible.
Another time, there were two jammers and all of the main objectives were between the jammers. The map was laid out in such a way that there any encampments all around them, so you couldn't really move about easily without aggroing everything. The ground even had barbed wire and contact minds strewn about in the most random places, along with roving gunship patrols. Like, how are you supposed to handle that?
With jammers, you're basically SOL in terms of your ability to use red stratagems. But your red stratagems are what you really rely on when there's 40-50 enemies swarming you and the terrain is horrendously not in your favour. Which is likely to be the case in the above scenarios I've described. And this sort of thing happens.
But tbh, this video hits deep for reasons other than cool Helldiver tips. You're dropping some S-Tier life advice here. 5/5 stars.
I only post runs that I think are entertaining to watch. So they are definitely curated. Please don't be disheartened that you get impossible missions from time to time. That's not a you problem, it's an RNG problem. The beauty is that even that you can learn to overcome, if you stay motivated.
When soloing, I succeed at about 80% of all my missions. When I started soloing, more like 30%. The goal of these videos for me is to show what you are capable of if you set your mind to it. So I hope that's what you get from it mostly. I add things from my life experience because I believe the two are connected (mindset and game skill).

While it's difficult to justify using something other than the grenade pistol I like taking the redeemer against bots since it lets you take an explosive primary while still having a consistent answer against the occasional melee bots. The main reason I use it though is because of the insane dps it has against berserkers specifically, if you land all your shots (which is pretty easy since the berserkers get close to you on their own) you can get about one and a half berserkers per clip with just a secondary weapon, could be useful with the increased berserker spawns in super helldive. Love the videos, hoping to see a super helldive vs bugs soon!
I bring the senator for a similar reason, not the explosive primary, but the dps against berserkers. Plus if you can time your shot with the sway of their body you can one shot them to the face, which I found you can also do from close range with the grenade pistol if the grenade bounces off them. This however also led to the grenade killing it, then flying back and exploding on my head so I wouldn't recommend it
The Redeemer was my go-to before I got used to the Grenade Pistol. I think that mindset is very potent, choosing your guns relative to eachother I mean. I agree that with all the Berserkers now, arguably the Redeemer is gonna find a good place!

The med kit passive is the best passive in the game when used correctly don't use stims as heals only use them as a panic button get out of jail free card an invincibleilty tool or a tool for aggression laser cannon is just a good bot weapon and so is the sickle the grenade pistol to destroy fabricators and stun grenades for hulks
The hmg emplcement is for when a bot drop happens call it down and rattle all the bots that arrive you can stim on the hmg emplcement the supply pack gives an extra 8 stims

It's still better to dive than to go prone as you have a higher chance of getting shot if you prone on the same spot versus moving away from it with a dive. As a stealth diver with 0 stims, it has kept me alive multiple times long enough to get to a stim box.
I think that's a good argument, I notice they aim for your torso much more than your feet. So by going prone you dodge most bullets and can stim faster (since you can't stim midair). I also have a bad habit of landing on pebbles that make me ragdoll. Thank you for the disagreement though, shows there is definitely more than one way to Rome! 😃
Super hell dive on the termanids mission is fun with a crossbow, jump pack, rail gun, airstrike, and precision strike. I’ve been trying to change up my stratagems and weapons because i got in a rut. Anywho using the pack to get on high ground and take out half of the super nests is so satisfying, plus it’s good for getting away from those pests
I used to be an EAT type weapon and supply pack kind of guy with impact grenades or an auto cannon with 2 eagles and an orbital but playing with totally different loadouts this week has been a damn blast
I am very unaccustomed to the Crossbow, but it definitely has potential. Specially since it can close nests and fabricators!
And that is probably the best moral of the story, having fun is easy to do if you're willing to add variety. So experiment away! 😃

I've been running with the supply pack a lot lately. When I'm playing solo, it's so nice to basically have a supply drop stratagem strapped to your back at all times. When I'm playing with randoms, they usually go off on their own and call in supply drops without telling me where, so I need to supply myself anyway.
I think the Supplypack is the strongest backpack in the game. The beauty is I know many disagree with me, which should mean that the game is fairly well balanced! 😃 Glad you are enjoying it also, thank you for posting @ShinobiNeon! 🙏

Yes, the Railgun now takes out Gunships with 2-3 bullets. Used to be alot more (I believe like 6-7). So Gunships are officially not a problem for the Railgun anymore.

Yeah I did @ilayfedorenko9713 ! I think it has to do with all the Hulks / heavy units taking up their "slots". So there was too many big units for the game to throw Heavy Devastators at me as well. That is my best guess anyway! 🫡

Yes sir/ma'am! Yeah the Scorcher is phenomenal against Automatons, always has been I think.
Is it 8 post-patch? I don't use the Scorcher often, but the Gunships got nerfed defensively.

Consider swapping to the Plasma Punisher rather than the Punisher. It can do AOE damage to multiple bots, doesn't require you to aim for heads, staggers, and it has WAY more effective range than the punisher, once you get used to the ballistic arc. You can even loop your shots over cover to hit bots while you're safe. It's insane how good this gun is for bots, basically the perfect weapon as long as you're not fighting the bots point blank, in which case you'll hit yourself while not being able to oneshot heads like the Punisher can. But fighting bots point blank is suicide anyways; the plasma punisher is near perfect in every other situation.
I've heard this one before, I'll be honest it feels very weird for me to not aim at their heads 🫣. I will agree that the Plasma Punisher is a fantastic gun though! Maybe one day it'll become more my style, never say never 🫡

I think difficulty 10 Terminids requires prioritizing Alpha Commanders now a days. They spawn Alpha Warriors really fast, between Hunters and Alpha Warriors it's very easy to get overwhelmed. The hard part is that Alpha Warriors have a tendency to retreat, so you have to kill them asap.
That's probably the best tip for now! 🫡

Haha, definitely not necessary. Our mind has a tendency to enjoy observing disaster, so most videos will be about disaster (just like news articles). I'm now sure Fortresses come in different layouts, mine didn't have a detector tower. The 3 ones I've done on non-icy planets have a rocky part behind them, that you can climb and sneak in from the rear. Still gotta be mindful that some canon turrets can 360° to shoot inside the fortress while dealing with the fabs.
The only thing I'm disappointed about is the data being worth so few samples x) maybe because it was a hellish extraction the first time we got it.
Yeah they definitely do. I think the hard part is just that, making sure you don't randomly get surprised by a Towercannon / Bunkerturret shot. There's enough cover to handle the bots, it's mostly the cannons that are troublesome I think.
I am always the optimist, unfortunately I am inclined to agree with you. I hoped they'd introduce a new currency of some form, giving us a whole new thing to work for. We'll see how it works out though, they've been good about handling feedback for the most part. And I believe they have a feedback form on their Discord now? So good things altogether.

Confirmation bias is very prominent on social media. We all like to believe what we want to believe, facts and counter arguments don't change that on average. What is the best option for gunships? I struggle a lot with them
2:13 lol you're not wrong to assume that most light infantry got swapped out for Berserkers, imo I don't mind a couple but when they chase you 10-15 at a time with how tanky even 1 of them is it starts to become a problem.
Yeah difficulty 10 is basically Zerker/Hulk mode haha. I do think that it might make it easier in alot of regards though, as mentioned in the video. I was noticing I was constantly paranoid where all the dropships were. Only to realize that Zerkers and Hulks don't call in dropships. So we'll see how we feel about that as time passes 🫣
@@PhacilGaming oh yeah good point, unlike bugs only the chaff bots can call for bot drops. I might need to do some more diff 10s myself and see if this change could significantly impact how the mission plays out.
