Binary, it's a computer's language, 0s and 1s. Basically meant that it showed the chracter in the game that it's in a simulation.
The moment I saw that computer bit at the end I was honestly disappointed.

That would be the moment when I would imagine a panic attack from me would could from as well. Perhaps a panic attack is connected to existentialism. Psychological Horror, my bread and butter
Anyone know some good psychological horror movies? No thriller stuff but I don't mind some gore. It's really hard to find a horror movie that can actually make you question your own life. I've seen some inspired by HP Lovecraft but those were old and weird. Not scary perse.

Johan Sebastian Picon Toro there’s different kinds of horror though, psychological is obviously more centered on the internal aspects of horror, kind of like shutter island. There’s lovecraftian horror, focused on beings so grotesque, so indescribably terrifying they drive men mad. That horror is fun because it leaves almost all of it to your imagination. There’s more, but i hope you get the gist. Also, judging from your writing, I also hope you’re old enough to understand this :) have a good one man

I've never understood questions like "are your feelings real and not just programmed like a computer" So what if they are programmed, how does that make anything less real or "meaningful" if that's what such questions are going for
Acci we are computers, the human brain is literally a monkey meat computer, life is meaningless, death has even less meaning, there is no reason to stop, once you complete the loop it will be as if you never realized it in the first place, but you will view suffering with a greater value or lack of value I should say, and once you start to think about machines doing work and automation and how they don’t suffer, you rethink lower sentient life and then need to do a 12 page research paper on pain reception and awareness and then you realize everything is situational and the ability to suffer means it should be avoided and then you get to about where I am
i mean technically our brains are like supercomputers and whatever we do/feel is "programmed" by our genetics

What irritated me was how a lot of people seem to find it uncomfortable to think of reality as programmed, acting as if being a program is what determines value/meaning, and as if programmes are Somehow less "real". At least that's the impression I often get with a lot of people.
If we are programmed by a god who has his own idea of what has more or less meaning, then that still wouldn't magically make it impossible for people to have a concept of value. Because there's absolute value like in numbers, but there's also relative value right? U buy an item for the money that you value less than the item, for the seller it's the opposite. Once there is a Point of view, that point of view has its own reality of value that will differ from any other. If a god made you, that just adds his point of view on value/meaning.
If there is no god with a point of view, who programmed us, then the future is either already destined or there are unlimited possibilitied - I don't know. I'd have to do excessive reasearch to form my opinion on this. But either way things wouldn't be happening randomly, so in a way it's still a program, just not done by someone with a plan for it in mind. But rather more like a self developing program, changing in little bits by "learning" what has the best chance of working efficiently - evolution
Anyhow that's all that this makes me think of. So I don't understand where the pessimistic approach to "we are "just" a program" comes from - why does it make people feel like it makes reality meaningless?
