Two Arizona supreme court justices who voted in favor of the ban, justices Bolick and King, will be up for retention vote in November. These two will get voted out allowing the Gov. Hobbs to appoint two new justices onto the supreme court.
Donald Trump will absolutely sign a national abortion ban if he gets re-elected and it comes to his desk. Anybody who believes otherwise is being obnoxiously obtuse.

Donald Trump will not sign a national abortion “ban” unless it’s something like a 15-20wk ban plus life of mother and baby, which you guys still call a national abortion ban. He was a NY democrat for most of his life and has never been against abortion. If nothing else he has good instincts which tells him that this is a losing topic.

1864 abortion law never mention about caring patients before they will reach life threatening moments.
Also "life of the mother" is subjective. Look no further than that one Texas case.

I want to know how an 1864 law will be upheld in Arizona at all. Arizona wasn't a state. The bottom half was the Confederate Territory. The top half was a different Territory and included Las Vegas, Nevada. Who's going to call Las Vegas and tell them?

There is a middle ground. From a policy perspective, it is the policy platform of the Democratic party. Republicans have skewed so far to the extreme right ideologically (dipping into the realm of fascism) , that it would appear that typical moderate, common sense positions held by Democrats are left leaning, but really, if one considers popular opinion on many of the primary issues that Americans care about, positions held by Democratic politicos are in line with the majority of Americans desires. That is "Middle Ground."
Politicians can't find a middle ground, but most Americans can. As far as I hear, most are satisfied with a three month time period in which to get one. Prolifers can still reach out to mother's individually, with choices like adoption, which is a good option for some.
How much do I get to control your body? Can I take your both your kidneys, or only one? What about one of your lungs? What COMPROMISE of me controlling your body is acceptable to you???

Nope. Unfortunately, the Dems are applauding men to be in women's bathrooms, sports, and spaces.
The Dems' treatment of women is indefensible and profoundly insulting.
What we need is a strong, no nonsense centrist party working on issues that matter to most citizens. Making sure we have domestic safety, farmer and ranchers able to work, clean air, water and soil.
If you're talking about one of the 2 sides. It's by definition, not the middle ground.

Increase welfare for unwed mothers. guarantee free health care for all newborns up till the age of Six. Mandate free child care so mothers can work. Change adoption laws to make it extremely easy to adopt children. And allow prospective parents to pay For an unwed mother's healthcare and maternity care. Allow direct payments from prospective parents to an unwed mother. And 8:20 watch how fast abortion declines

There is no middle ground re: bodily autonomy when you not only dismiss majority of medical professional orgs expertise but criminalize physicians.

States should decide how to proceed with abortion laws. Federal government should focus on our country defense and border security. That's its role. If you don't like it, move to CA, NY, NJ or similar cesspools.
I’m sorry. You should not be able to put restrictions of any time on it. That is left up to the mother and her doctor. No one that is beyond a certain point has ever said, I change my mind and I am 6 months pregnant, I want to terminate it. NO ONE in their right minds. And no doctor would perform one. The only woman getting a late term abortion is one where the life of the mother is truly at stake or the fetus is no longer viable, or etc. This shouldn’t be a conversation our government is having, let alone having to vote on. If you make them safe, legal, affordable and accessible, then women can decide when they are still mostly in the first trimester to terminate an unwanted pregnancy.
Anyone who wants to put a time restriction on abortion should also push for free monthly pregnancy tests and have everyone schedule a monthly abortion, just in case they need one so they won't have to wait for an appointment outside the time allowed.

The AZ Supreme Court should have ruled on the 2022 bill. Not some law that was made when AZ was a territory. This is a simple fix. Vote trump and vote for the abortion bill. They aren't tied together. Biden isn't worth another term.
