The latest on...Neel Kashkari, the Minneapolis Federal Reserve president, tells "Face the Nation" that "it's certainly possible" unemployment will continue to tick up and there will be some economic "cooling" over the next few weeks", CBS News contributor Sam Vinograd, an Obama administration Homeland Security official, tells "Face the Nation" that she is "less concerned" about the terrorism threat from people coming through the border than "a bad actor who is unknown to us", and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is moving ahead with a nuclear power plant in Wyoming. He tells "Face the Nation" that "support for nuclear power is very impressive in both parties" in Congress.

      That's not political,.
It's called American capitalistic free market enterprise. Politicians, hands off. 50% profit on a $million home is double that of a $1/2Mil investment.
Renters? These are for high paid, high tech, millionaire entrepreneurs, not monthly renters, who can't even muster enough to cover the down payment (or security fees) and HOA fees.
Luxury homes only exist within 'exclusive' neighborhoods, with Ferrari and Maserati owners, who clean their pools.
You're obviously trying to play far above your league. Dream on. But, I've had to share rentals and mortgage payments with others over most of my life. Get real. Where' there's the will, there's a way. Now @72, I own my 4 bdrm, 2bth on 5 acres of foothill property, living the life of a king on SS benefits.
Plan ahead, sacrifice vacations, and you'll get tere, too..
The filthy rich don't have problems getting mortgages.
This is why big corp needs reigns and to pay fair taxes.

Why? because, the more people in Democrat districts (legal or illegal) the more Congressional representation democrats achieve. Congressional representation is based on Census numbers, which count BOTH Americans and illegal aliens. Right now, there are (at least) 12 million illegal aliens in the USA. When you consider that the majority of illegal aliens live in Blue states, they give the Democrats representation that is greater than the entire Congressional representation of 44 states.

Because it requires 2500 immigrants per day to maintain population. 3000 to maintain a viable workforce. The immigration court system can handle 300 per day. Therefore, Custom and Borders agents have to follow US law and allow entry until a Judge determines eligibility for asylum/residency. Vetting takes time and money, something Congress has to appropriate and never does.

C-19 made more billionaires than ever in history. The average person is in less financial and living conditions now than 4 years ago, and if you look at 1997 and before, our government spending has been out of control since. When Carter started the Federal department of education, it took until 1982 and had 450 employees. Every single state already had these departments and they actually run their states education. Now it employs 4400 with a $90 billion dollar cost, their are many departments and NGO’s that are so unnecessary and a burden to the average taxpayer. BANKS and Distributors are hoarding goods in order to create false shortages and inflation 😮 Maybe at faults is lending institutions that want to create false profits by overlending to borrowers, which cannot keep the promises of repaying the loans within the agreed terms! In real capitalism, owners do not borrow during downturns in the economy, and they do not lay off workers just to pay banks, which have made them hostage to their lending practices! Businesses should understand that by laying off people, it only makes them slaves to the lender, which kind of hangs them, forcing them into bankruptcy if they have a hard time paying their loans.... What Samantha was talking about re. border security, etc. is all fine and good, but the problem is the overarching policies put in place by BIDEN, and whatever they make the "asylum" criteria for letting people walk into the country. Policies of a BIDEN and his ilk only greatly heighten the "pull" INCENTIVES for people piling to the border to begin with. This is putting it nicely.

Trump blocked the biggest bipartisan border security bill in our lifetimes. Even the border patrol union wanted it to pass. What did his party get for that, other than a weak border? Face it. The Dems want to solve the border but the Republicans don't because they want to campaign on it. Pay attention to actions not rhetoric.

Inflation is already below the 50 year average, the only thing keeping it up is rents and those have been artificially kept up by price fixing landlords.

@diamondlion47 Sorry, but keep listening to the propaganda news channel. They only tell you what the last 12 month inflation is at 3.4%, less food and energy. What is the real inflation rate over the last four years? Let me provide you with the facts reported by the federal reserve. It's 21.1 percent. You can find all the data in the FRED report. Prove me wrong.

CBS completely OBLIVIOUS toe the TOP story this week which is Joe Biden wandering off at the G7, SALUTING the Italian Prime Minister, skipping a very important dinner function and generally EMBARRASSING the US on the world stage. God only knows what stupidities he vomited to the G7, in public and in private.
