Thank you for your help!!
Goal: to master content, not just get through it!
1. Find a resource for learning the material
2. Don't be passive (feel free to use videos to learn, and the books for extra info and practice) - learn in a way that works for you!
3. Varify in your book - when using videos
4. Reinforce concepts with active writing, etc. (flashcards, audio summaries, "cheat sheets")
5. Confirm you know the information - do practice questions (try to get 70-90%, if 90% maybe consider moving through the material faster if you aren't aiming for a super high score).
Excellent Priyankaben! What ONE resource are you going to use?
Just stopping by to say hello and thanks for helping me with an "A" in orgo
You're very welcome and congratulations!
Always motivating and super helpful! Thank you!
Most excited to move away from mastering (obsessing over) each and every mcat related-detail!. Thank you for the permission to move onđ
YES!!! That's exactly the goal! Feel free to master 70-90% but KEEP GOING! 90% of everything is better than 100% without progressing
Thank you for your advice.
My pleasure!
Weird to consider thinking about why I would be excited for any step. Even weirder to have realized that I'm genuinely most excited for implementing #4. This whole video is super motivational and inspiring. Thank you so much for all the tips and lessons!!
Love that you're excited!
great advice!! :)
Thank you
Great tips!
Glad you think so!
So I finally got to listen to the video of the five steps to study for the MCAT without any interruptions. Everything you mentioned I followed all of them, and it took me a year and a few months to do them all for all subjects. I really feel that I would need to look over all subjects again and repeat all the steps again for another 2 to 3 years for me to fully understand everything or at least 80% of everything. So I think right now Iâm at the crossroads....Either go ahead and take the exam in 2020 or study for another 2 to 3 years to take the exam 2022 or 2023. Not sure if this is a question or a statement.
I know you've been working so hard this entire time. You have such an unstoppable spirit, and one day you will be an AMAZING doctor!
Thanks for the tips!
You're very welcome
@@Leah4sciMCAT great one.
Thank you for the tips!! The tip Iâm most excited to try is the âreinforce content w/active writingâ. Iâve always been a visual/audio learner! But one question: Should I first only watch the video and follow up with my books and then watch/read again for the active writing?
You're very welcome Destiny. I personally recommend video then reinforce with book, if still not clear watch again, and when ready -> AW leah4sci.com/active
Very helpful! I wanted to know if the videos on your channel cover all or most of the topics on MCAT?! I really like learning by watching videos and I was wondering if you cover everything on your channel! Thank you!
Glad this helped you! No, my CZcams channel is just a small portion of what you need for the MCAT. For more information on what you need, check here: leah4sci.com/mcat-resources
Thank so much for this video.
It's time now to score an "A" in my organic chemistry test.
You're very welcome

You're very welcome
Thank you mam. I am preparing for NEET and your videos are very helpful. Kindly make playlist for neet topics.
You're so welcome! While I don't offer a NEET playlist, you can search for any topics you are studying.
Hi Leah,
I'm on a huge time crunch for the MCAT, I just wanted to know what your tips are for learning for the MCAT with ADHD. I have the content books and practice exams but I'm feeling overwhelmed and it's only been day 1 of content review.
Should I try videos first and then referring to the books? I did end of chapter quizzes but I've only been able to get 8/15 which is not stellar.
I'm taking the MCAT the end of September, yikes!
yikes!! Too much to discuss in a CZcams thread. Email me leah4sci.com/contact or consider booking a strategy coaching call: leah4sci.com/speed
really excited for active writing, but i find myself spending more than 20 minutes to complete a task, more like an hour. I will be using khan academy as my main resource for content, and TPR for book review. for practice i don't know what to do yet
Do you mean more than 20 min for AW? if yes I'll challenge that you're writing too much. Don't rewrite your notes. JUST the ONE WORD to memorize, say the definition out loud. just the formula/equation, no explanatory sentences... see if this helps cut down the time
This is excellent advice. I am that tons of resources but I just realized it's over kill. I have to narrow it down and slow myself down. I put to much pressure on myself to learn fast. And then get frustrated when I take longer. Thank you! đ
YES!!! better to 'mostly get' many chapters than to 'fully master' 1 and never make progress!!
@@Leah4sciMCAT I see, yes this should help. I will try that. For example when I and doing the pathways of metabolism like TCA or ETC I write down everything even if I know very well. btw I appreciate and think its awesome you converse with us in the comments
You're very welcome! let me know how it goes
:)
U loking so beautifull
Thanks, but it's all about conquering the MCAT. Looks don't matter in that.
