izaiaz12 In the interests of accuracy, Tony Dalton who plays Lalo in BCS is actually American (born in Texas). His mother is Mexican so he has no problem with making his performances authentic.
I'm kind of confused about it as well. Removing morality out the equation because that concept is alien to them, why create a enemies with civilians? It's crazy to me that even with how brutal the Navarro cartel was on Ozark, this lagunas cartel was the more vicious bunch.
True. Why have a second bomb just for civilians?

Mr. Thunder the attack on Marty’s cash drop definitely proved that
Navarro = Barksdale
Lagunas = Stanfield
Or the Sinaloa cartel in 2020.
One of the most brutal openings to a season, by far...
The reality is that shit really happens 😬😬
When I first saw this scene I thought I had clicked on a different show. Really set the tone for the season
Jason Bateman is one hell of a director.

love how everyone screams at first but then they realize OOO MONEY
little did they know...
If the actors were actual Spanish native speakers and it wasn't forced, it would be perfect
I was fucking shocked when I saw this. How many shows do you know that would open a new season like this? None!

They were entranced by the stereotypical mariachi music on the PA.

They really nailed that Coahuila accent 😓
@Customer Service that's why he said
@Customer Service yeah..but Mexico has always to be protrayed like this: as a shitty county... and Mexico loves that...

I see what you did there.

That hand stabbing st the beginning looked real as fuck.. SOMETIMES I WONDER🤔
It's a documentary. They followed around the real cartels and watched them murder people.
“Fake hand” the real hand is under the shirt

Lol that’s not Mexico that’s the plaza fiesta here in Atlanta

season starts with an inside look at the cartel war taking place in mexico and ends with the plan of attack nice

It's not as bad as the Asian actors speaking different asian languages. relax
Confused around the purpose of killing those innocent people...
he wanted to get more kills and earn more xp I guess
To turn the public against him
it wasnt enough xp for the 30 lvls enchantment

Do Mexican malls really have stereotypical mariachi music playing on the PA? Most malls north of the border don't even have MUZAK anymore!

Why can't they hire actors who can speak Spanish like Mexicans?
Why do cartels fight? So much money, product?
War and power
They all want to be #1
many territories dont have domain so constant fight for the territory, routs... especially when a cartel leader is arrested
