This Is the Best Italian Food at Bellagio Las Vegas

- The Bellagio hotel is one of the best places to stay on the Las Vegas Strip. We had an incredible pizza for lunch at Lago by Julian Serrano (too early for the Bellagio fountain show), a delectable but messy raspberry tart for a midday snack at the Bellagio Patisserie, and a stunning lobster pot pie and perfectly cooked (eventually) steak for dinner at Michael Mina Restaurant by the Bellagio Conservatory.

For me, the first steak was perfect. It was definitely on the rare side of medium rare, which is how I like my filet mignon.
The filet is medium rare, no question. Good to see you sending the steak back.a major step up from donuts and the raw chicken. Medium for my steak.

The Bellagio is so beautiful! We're leaving for Vegas on Sunday and can't wait to try some of these great places you've been showing us. I usually get my steak medium rare, particularly the filet, but that looked rare to me! You're right: that lobster pot pie was a true show-stopper! Might have to go by the Patisserie and get myself one of those crepes!
The raspberry tart made me gasp, but the lobster pot pie made me DROOL. I am JEALOUS.
It doesn't matter how 'we' like our steak cooked. You are paying up the butt, so for the plate not being exactly as you requested is not acceptable. That first steak was 'rare', no question.
Love your videos. I still think the restaurants you feature should compensate you for advertising. Most of us would never go into a higher priced place, but you showing how good the food is will make us think about it.

We did the classic tasting and seasonal one so we got to try almost everything on the menu. Mina’s places are always solid

As impressed as I was with the Italian place the second place I was even more impressed. That pot pie was the bomb. That steak, well the first one was not medium. I always order my steaks medium and by doing so learned over time what a medium steak should look like. Kudos to the restaurant for bringing you a whole newly cooked medium steak that looked awesome. Awesome Video!!!!!!
That second steak was perfect! I like medium too I can do medium rare but if it's medium well it's going back. That lobster pot pie looked outrageously good and the pastries mmmm Love Derek's food gasms you can really tell when something is extra good. The videos are even so much more fun now with with Catherine.

I love this video!!! You guys are soooo lucky to be there! The last time I stayed at the Bellagio was in 2015; the food at their buffet was excellent but expensive. But despite the expense, the experience of being there is worth it.

That filet mignon definitely looked medium rare. The cooking does continue after you take it off the heat source, but it takes five to ten minutes. The cooking they were talking about is the juices of the steak being equally distributed throughout the steak. It does rise in temperature, but I don't know if the rise would be great enough to bring that steak to medium. It only rises a few degrees.
It looked like just sliced off the cow and plated up!

That steak was definitely on the rare side. There are certain steaks that I like more rare, prime rib being one of them. But, a filet I always order medium. Thanks for dropping a vlog today, it was a nice surprise. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and Catherine

Video Quality is amazing
I haven't tried Michael Mina or Prime in Bellagio yet, but Michael Mina's looked extraordinary! That lobster pot pie was decadent! The medium filet looked good, the other looked good but was a little undercooked to my preference too. I've been to Lago with a fountain view before for the Prix Fixe menu when they first reopened and it was great! Spago in Bellagio was also great, it's on the opposite side of the fountains and I was seated right next to the window for an up close fountain show! Another great video Derek and Catherine!

Derek always keep me laughing with his natural humor and expressions. I prefer my steaks medium. The first steak Derek cut into was definitely rare...it was almost mooing; I'm glad he sent it back. Food is so expensive and we shouldn't have to settle for something that we don't like. I want to eat at the Bellagio for only 24 hours!!! Nothing but amazing!!! Apparently, it's quite the injustice to go beyond medium rare, but what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!!!😁 Dare I say I would go beyond medium😬😁

The first steak was medium rare. The second steak was medium. By the look of them, I would likely have enjoyed both, but I don't think there's a right or wrong way to enjoy your steak. It's a matter of taste. Good show as usual. Hope to see another soon.

It has seemed to me a steak cooked as your second try is much more tender than one as rare as the first. Right or wrong it's been my experience.

I mostly agree with Derek. I usually like steak cooked medium over medium rare. I like to have some juicy pink but not squishy raw/rare, but sometimes medium rare works well on filet mignon.
That’s the biggest hunk of filet mignon I’ve ever seen. I’d be excited to get such a big serving of it.
The food looks ultra wonderful! My guy's favorite place is Bellagio, but I've yet to go. I can't wait to visit!! Ironically, I used to be such a steak snob. But my significant other insists on Well Done. It is a cultural preference in his case. I've learned to respect that. In the end we'll order separate steaks, and I'll share mine too try to convince him that Medium to Medium Rare is King 👑

I stayed at Bellagio for a week last week and did not try any of these places. I ate at Jasmine, Yellowtail and at Sadelle's Cafe! They were all great! Very nice video! I like my steak well done! 😊

I like a medium cooked steak too, but if I have to have it over or under, I'd prefer it under, however, at those price-points you definitely deserve to have it as you asked for it, which is what you did get in the end and also exactly like I like it too! My mouth watered : )
