@@thewanganfiles9304 is that so? So why is it then, that it's proven fact the rb30 blocks are stronger than an 05u rb26 block and the n1 rb26 block? Motive DVD along with Platinum Racing Products have sonic tested all the 3 mentioned blocks aswell as measured the thickness between bores and block webbing and the RB30 block wins. Call the rb30 block junk if you will, the rb30 block material is more dense and stronger, to add to that its already 3L so you dont need to add a spacer to add to the height of the rb26 block and stroker kit to bring it up to 3L like the Japanese kits do. Not only that, all the FASTEST GTRs come from Australia, which all used RB30 blocks, Maatouks and CRD have held the titles for quickest GTRs in the world. @@thewanganfiles9304 tell it to the record book fan boy, 6 second pass at 220mph rb30 block with full weight and radial tyre. They only went to billet block recently.
@@thewanganfiles9304 you have no idea. Lol Its an RB30 block with a Nitto 3.2 stroker... Ontop of that, yes the HKS drag car went 7s back in the mid 90s, though dont forget its a fully stripped chassis on drag slicks, while now there are cars doing 6s with full interior and on a radial tyre, different kettle of fish you cannot compare the two if one is a full drag car and the other is a street legal car. Your claim that RB30s do not rev is incorrect, the built RB30 engines will see anywhere from 9000 to 10000rpm if you've been in one you might know. Watch videos on Jun 2 or King 32 or War Gtr you will know for yourself. Your claim on the use of billet blocks is incorrect I have a close relationship to some of the shop owners, many workshops here like B2R, JEM, Maatouks and CRD have built RB30s in plenty of customer cars running deep into the 7s and 8s with full weight cars on radial tyres. Maatouks and CRD had already run 6s on the RB30 block in their own car's (not customer cars) way before moving onto a billet block and Maatouks never used the RB26 block in King 32 he only used the cylinder the head mated to the RB30 block. Maatouks has been building VL turbos for over 20 years and he's toyed with the RB30 blocks for the good part of that and if you actually took the time to watch the video in the link I sent in an earlier comment you would understand why everyone is using the RB30 blocks now. It is common knowledge RB26 blocks tend to crack at a certain amount of power anywhere from 700-800hp, the strength of the RB30 blocks over the RB26 blocks including the N1 RB26 block, ie thickness between the bores and hardness of the block which is shown in the link I sent you is why it is a popular option for people who decide to build an engine for their GTRs. Also your claim that the RB26s out perform a 2JZ clearly shows you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about and really sound like a fan boy stuck in the 90s era. Show me an unopened RB26 that will hold over 800whp, show me an Rb26 that runs 5 second passes. That's right, they dont but the 2jz does.
