INSANE 2Step - R34 GTR Launch!

- While we were in Australia with Motive DVD, we stopped by a couple badass shops! There are some monster GTR’s (obviously) but there’s even a little LS action going on DOWN UNDA! Kyle takes a ride in a hilarious turbo Toyota Starlet and he also gets taken for a rip in a nasty R34 GTR! Very cool to see what these shops are all about and display some of their work by not only going around the shop, but by taking a GTR for an awesome ride! those little starlet turbos are awesome :D actualy pretty fast for a 1.3 turbo ive even seen people put a 2zz 1.8 in them and turbo that and they are insane 300+hp only weigh 900kg

Too many laws and regulations to be the best car scene. I'm from here too but police make it hard to enjoy our cars. Not even taking about hooning just the restrictions on modifications.

Psst... The way to get an R34 into the country is via the 'racecar loophole'. Import it as an exhibition vehicle and store it at a track, for 'awhile'.

That said, cops are not as dumb as one might assume in regards to non-domestic vehicles, so if you drive it on the street, it's on the owner and the mood of the officer (and your municipality) if ya' get caught. You can call it a front clip swap right up until they see it's right hand drive. But I leave that up to the owners.
At any rate, a few S15's and a handful of R32-34's have come in for special events via shipping container, and not of them returned home, wink wink. It's still going to cost a small fortune to do all that, plus the car, and parts are a premium unless you have a friend or a trusted pick-n-ship service over there that can ship what you want/need.
Or ship it to canada or mexico and just drive it into the states. Iv seen people selling them with mexican plates
Better is buy it from a Canadian who registers it there. Much less hassle.
If you import it as a race car it can never be made street legal

I wish I could hit the lottery and get myself an r34 here in the states, modified so that I could drive it as a paraplegic. I’d probably do something like putting in r35 parts with the paddles so I could keep it manual and everything. I’d have to have custom hand controls to work the clutch similar to Rob Parsons drift car setup. It’d be an expensive project to do all the custom stuff that I would need done to be able to drive it. That’s the dream for me though. I love those cars but unfortunately I just can’t drive a manual without serious modifications.

They were unavailable in Australia so that's why the guys don't no them they were called the ep91 there's loads on the roads in Ireland were I'm from and the UK too obviously with us having no important restrictions here and with us driving on the left hand side of the road
