Ive lived in Texas my whole life. A few years ago I was visiting my Great Aunt in Carleton Texas. It all started around dusk, when a huge supercell thunderstorm produced a "wedge" tornado. The most evil looking craziest tornado Texas has seen in over half a century. Wind speeds were close to EF5 range. It took my 1997 F250 Powerstroke and wrapped it around a Live Oak tree 2 times. The family and I were at a 10 minute oil change place getting the oil changed on my Moms truck when we had to take shelter in the bottom of the place where they drain the oil to. Like a big underground basement so the techs can get under peoples cars quickly to change the oil. That GTR on the dyne in the beginning of the video sounded damn close to that tornado.

Even if it lost, the insanity and noise of RHM on a pull makes the car what it is. There are plenty of fast GTRs in Aus, but none of them look like that punching gears.

Can you run the pneumatic paddle shifters with this much power? Is it quick enough to shift the gears? Im sure the motec or whatever management he has can do it. Would be way safer if you can keep two hands in the wheel.
Yep you can with Albins Holinger PPG OS88s etc
Power level isn't a factor. The pneumatic actuator is still shifting like your hand would.

theres a few but they cant keep up. Gtr's, skylines and TT lambos/r8's are the absolute quickest streetcars on the planet.

As far as published on dragy, the worlds fastest is an R8 at 2.37) - search it, it’s very recent
So: I dont think Aussie gtr’s walk a top of the line Iroz RS3 easily and that they aren’t competitive
@@dash-kt7uf The worlds fastest Rs3's are only in the high 7's. Gtrs are running low 6's. The 60-130 record was originally done by a workhorse gtr then the r8 tied with it. The fastest 60-130 runs out of aus are all from GTR's/ skylines and a couple lambos/ r8's.
As far as i'm aware the r34 in this video ran a 2.5X 100-200kmh being the second quickest in aus, and it did this on its very first outing with the new setup when it was on low boost. If he slapped on some 15" wheels and went a concrete surface that's flat then turned it up it could most definitely run a mid 2 60-130.
I don't think I have seen any rs3 for that matter running a 2 60-130 at all.
There are some impressive RS3's and TTRS' in the scene but none can compete with these cars
