During war, my German fleet was completely destroyed except a super battleship. Then I was concentrating on land warfare and when I took a look on naval battle, all was victory. My super battleship alone destroyed more than 100 ships including aircraft carriers.i was too much proud.
That sounds like a slight balancing issue...

6:30 when you do the berlin-moscow axis almost every one (except the east and south america) joins the allies, i learned that the hard way.
The details of the 1935 Anglo-German Naval agreement was that Germany could have a surface navy again BUT the combined total weight of the ships in tons CANNOT be higher than 10% of the total weight in tons of the Royal Navy which was the largest navy in the world at that time. This resulted in Germany focusing on building ships that were small (with the exception of the Bismarck and the Tirpitz) but had a large number of heavy inch guns on them
I had a game as Germany when I got Spain to join me and somehow Italy took Egypt. And with that I hat basically the entire british and french navy trapped in the Mediterranean. That was really fun taking them out piecemeal when they could not hide or heal

Its pretty op really. Guarentees you control of europe and even Asia if you wanna conquest. Just take UK and America yourself.
The drawback is of course that all democracies will join Britain. Really tho, it should give negative opinions to all other countries.

I think having all the allied countries join makes a very large amount of sense. Should also really increase the shit outta world tension as what is literally the two strongest nations in game just formed a bloody faction as a warmonger with their leader.

Easiest way to dominate the seas as Germany is to just spam out German Battleships because somehow Battleships are meta.
Also go for Raeder as he has some gucc buffs.
They may be great when yoi figbt near your terrain, when yoi have air superiority. The moment one of those moves close lets say to the us coast at war a cloud of bombers bombards tgem and before they route to a por they will get continuesly get fucked

No. Doenitz firmly believed in quality submarines in huge quantities would starve britain and win the war. fortunately, he never recieved either of those 2 things. He got way less subs and they werent even that good until later in the war

8:05 this is caused whenever you tell a navy to cancel a repair, it will send a pop up to confirm you want to cancel the repair. If you select this, the navy goes to never repair and you have to put it back.

One time I got the Kaiser back and then made a grand Navy, I Started by producing Destroyers and Carriors with some Cruisers then I moved onto Battleships, Battlecruisers and SuperBattleships once I had the dockyards
try winning a game, only using division templates which consist of one infantry slot

Did anyone else notice that the Hood was sunk by the Bismarck? If you dont know, the Hood was the pride of the British navy at the time, and the Bismarck just completely destroyed it. 3 shots and the Hood was split in half!
Dicker Max was a concept of a tank destroyer by germany in WW2. Im not kidding.

yes. and do not build bb, but cv + dd + light cruisers. with 4 cv in 1939, as germany you can have up to (strong) 250-300 divisions. hoi4 is actually very easy

The reason everybody joined the allies is an event the uk gets to invite democracies to the allies when you form the berlin-moscow axis

I did this, but I focussed less on Navy and still took out the French and British fleet.
It was actually rather interesting and fun to watch a naval run. But I have to say, every time I try to do a bit more navy, in combination with having to control the army, it gets quite tiring and tedious. Now I may just go for a run where I just hold my borders while I go for naval dominance.
I naval invade everytime with Submarine spam and starve them just walk in to London with my German "Gong"

As Germany I always build the ships they are already building (apart from subs) and start producing superheavy battleships

Well the thing is you only really need 60 ships with alright production of additional ships to thin down the British fleet since their ships are out of date
Naval invade on UK is pritty easy, just naval invade in "northumbria", cuz the AI only sets its navy in the english channel :)

I think if you just build 4 carrier 2s with good torpedo bombers and enough escorts, it's quite enough to pick the entire allied fleet apart bit by bit.
I really prefer doing carrier based fleets, where u have 4 carriers with 2/3 -1/3 torpedo bomber / fighters accompanied by a few battle cruisers and then all the screening you can produce. Works well.
I've found that if you do the Berlin-Moscow alliance, lots of people join the Allies, I think it's a power balance so you don't crush everyone immediately.

Only Work on a Full Tanks Army, You can only make 10 Infantry just so you can Marine Invade.

You are only allowed 10 units as Germany and you have to take out the Allies and Commies.

u can build heavy crusairs and upgrade them, I find it quite a success for me
Play as France in Millenium Dawn, in the 2017 start year, and retake all of your colonies in Africa and in the Middle East. Millenium Chaos is allowed, can't have any faction.

Got a challenge for ya Alex. Play as communist Czechoslovakia, beat Germany, then do what they were gonna do anyway, taking France and Poland, then take the USSR.
When I tried this it was actually the best run I ever had France was a bit more difficult but otherwise easy

I did this and had 1 carrier and like 5 battleships and some other smaller boats and I destroyed the British fleet in 2 months

And i heard people say spamming regular Battleships is the new meta... well i don't think it is when literally 2-4 Heavys with screening ships can sink entire fleets from UK, etc
