Even with all its faults, this movie was fairly enjoyable. I could see a reboot in the near future with new actors, new director and new writers. As long as studio and new team learn from the mistakes of this movie then it could be better.

People slam the movie, by Ryan was excellent! If they did another I would absolutely want to see it WITH Ryan Re olds at the helm!
What was the faults because I dont see it
It would be incredulous and unexpected to see Ryan return in a role from a movie everyone crapped on...which is exactly why I want it to work. Same with Stallone, he could be great with a good script as a old Judge Dredd.
This movie might have not been everyone’s cup of tea. But my God, does James Newton Howard never disappoint whenever he makes music!

Keep in mind, it's not that I choose to stare at the sun for a long period of time. It's just whenever I notice the sun in a clear sky without any clouds.
I guess the sun was all that was left to defeat Parallax.

Green Lanterns always felt as in the end, you will die. Having the Will to sacrifice yourself is the cornerstone of the Corp
If people actually watched behind-the-scenes stuff, it explains why they used so much CGI and why they made Parallax the way they did. For example, the CGI suits we’re done because they’re not actually made of a physical material but of energy. It wouldn’t have made sense to have real suits.

Technically bigger items burn SLOWER than smaller items due to SIZE and MASS.
If you microwave 1 Pizza Pocket it will take the time needed.
But if you put 2 or even 3, more time will be required as it will need more time to heat up.
Logic.
But the sun is not a microwave, in this situation there is a heat resource bigger than a human millions of times, if the object is bigger, absorbation area becomes bigger and tooks more force and heat than a smaller object, otherwise sun cannot detect a smaller thing in that range...
I'm so sure this was all carefully considered in the making of this scene where they go from Earth's low orbit to the sun in a matter of 20 seconds.

Siniestro began as a Green Lantern, one of the best, however, his thoughts about his duty became unrecognizable for the green lanterns and they took away his ring. Then he embraced fear and created the Siniestro Corps, which are the yellow lanterns

It was kilowog that gave him the idea. When they were training he created a sun and said the line “the bigger you are, the faster you burn” and I think parallax is fairly big

It's not bad per se, it is just super camp and average which makes it something like Fantastic Four. The problem with that was that it was attempting to contend with Marvel who was playing their own game.
There were some fun parts like this fight and Mark Strong was great as Sinestro but it was kind of a weak script, cgi wasn't good enough yet either.

This isn't necessarily very accurate to real world lore, look how fast they reach the Sun! In order for them to reach the Sun that short amount of time, they would have to be traveling faster than light! Because it would take light about 8 minutes to reach the Sun from Earth!
