    I bought the previous model for home roasting and we have loved it. It looks like you've changed everything I would change on mine. It's great to see all the improvements!

    Coming from a beer brewing world this 500g is just like having a pilot system to test batch on, small batch for R&D then scale up. This lil guy is set up for success right outta the gate, super tune able

    Hi Mill City! I love your videos! May I know if the drum is double walled stainless steel?

    • @MillCityRoastersMN
      @MillCityRoastersMN  Před 3 lety +2

      Double walled? Yes. Stainless steel? We use a type of stainless with a higher iron content to form the inner drum.

    Hi. Which temperature reading do you use for Charge Temperature? Bean Temperature Probe or Drum Temperature Probe?

    How many batch can you do in a row ?? Thanks

    • @roasterjoe
      @roasterjoe Před 5 lety +2

      As many as you would like! This is a professional roasting machine. As long as you don't allow the chaff to build up too much, you can keep it running for as many hours as you can stand next to it roasting.

    Are they available in Australia?

    Can i start a VERY Small Roasting Business using this 500g machine?

    • @MillCityRoastersMN
      @MillCityRoastersMN  Před 2 lety

      Sure. It will get you to something like 50 lbs a week of finished coffee roasting a couple of hours per day. Enough to confirm you can both learn to roast and sell coffee on a scale that makes a bigger machine worthwhile.
