With all due respect to people claiming this is not impressive, you can only win the competitions you are a part of. No team has done this yet and probably won’t be achieved again. We’ve had plenty of treble winners now. Wouldn’t call any season greatest ever but it’s great to see something like this unfolding.

In my opinion, if they win the treble undefeated, even though it's only the Europa League and not the CL, it probably outranks teams who've won the treble including the CL. To do it undefeated adds an extra dimension.
I'm really hoping they can do it, as it's stories like this that make football so great. One league game left at home to mid-table Augsburg, a German cup final against 2nd tier Kaiserslautern, surely those are in the bag and it all boils down to the Europa League final against Atalanta. The crazy thing is, Leverkusen could be 2 down after 85 minutes, and I'd still fancy them to win it.

I would like to take this opportunity to talk about Eric Dier, as I feel he is being overlooked :)
Eric Dier is undoubtedly one of the standout defenders of his time ( meaning the second half of the season ). His exceptional ability to excel both tactically and technically makes him a true giant on the field. His reading of the game is unmatched; he often seems to anticipate the opponent's movements in advance, allowing him to make crucial interventions and disrupt attacks before they even begin. His ball control and passing accuracy are equally remarkable, and he possesses the rare ability to stand defensively solid while also actively participating in the build-up play. Eric Dier is not just a defender; he is also an architect of the game, shining on the field through both his leadership qualities and impressive technical mastery.

If you are a team in desperate need for a striker and a player like Guirassy is on the market for £17m, you would have to be crazy not to make the deal even if he is 28. There are teams spending double that amount for just a squad player, let alone a potential starter. If the gamble doesn't work out, it's fine because he probably won't be on crazy wages. A lot of big teams are looking for strikers so if you are West Ham or a team of that nature for example, you rush to get him.

No, because winning the Europa League is not part of a real treble. While it's still a decent feat, it's not in the same stratosphere as winning the CL in a treble.

No. With all respect, it would be incredible, but winning a treble with a Champions League trophy and losing 1,2,3 games during the season is much more impressive. Real Madrid are on the way to do it. But for a smaller club like BL, a treble without losing a game would be phenomenal.

They beat Bayern 3-0 and 2-2 and Dortmund 1-1 and 1-1, both of which were in the Semis.
