True Elvis fans understand his pain that you mention and appreciate him even more for passionately sharing his heart, soul and beautiful voice with us. His fame cost him his freedom and privacy. Makes me sad for him.

Turned to drugs that eventually killed him and kept on doing what he Loved...singing and getting adoration from his fans who loved him back unconditionally. I still love him❤️.

Elvis LOVED his fans! I mean LOVED his fans! He always knew and stated many times that without them, he'd be driving a truck. That was his job when he made his first record in 1954. He drove a delivery truck for Crown Electric company in Memphis and was training to be an electrician. As he said in his 1969 August engagement at the International Hotel in Vegas "I was training to be an electrician...and I got wired the wrong way!" Elvis came from a childhood (into his teenage years) in EXTREME poverty. He never forgot that. Never forgot where he came from. He also knew and said throughout his life that it could literally all be gone in the blink of an eye. He never took his fame for granted. He was actually uncomfortable with fame. But because of his upbringing and knowing what it's like to literally have nothing, that's why he was so generous. Buying cars (especially Cadillacs) for people who couldn't afford them. He bought houses, cars, hourses....anything he thought that person might want. So many times, he'd pay cash for the gifts and use a fictitious name so the recipient had no idea it was from him. He also had a love of Children and animals. Twice a year....at Christmas and again at Easter, Elvis would cut a check to St. Jude Childeren's research hospital in Memphis. The amount would usually be $5,000.00. He started doing that in the early/mid 60's and continued it until the end of his life. So yeah.....humble. Never forgot how he started dirt poor, and always shared what he had with total strangers

He was the real deal.....no autotune! Nothing like today's music......No Computer Recorded Autotuned Pop...C.R.A.P.!! He was a genuine, awesome singer.....
Colonel Parker slowly murdered Elvis. This was the beginning of the end for him. His voice stayed strong as his body slowly died. Amazing talent. His passion was gospel and if you listen to any of it you'll know it.
I wouldn't go that far saying that Colonel Tom Parker murdered Elvis . Elvis killed himself with all those damn drugs. His manager didn't help matters any near the end, but let's be honest about it...Elvis died of drug abuse , as so many have before and since then. People never seem to learn. Also, Elvis let his manager have far too much power and control over him. Elvis was the star and really the boss, and he could have put the colonel in his place at any time. Elvis didn't need Tom Parker ...It was Tom Parker that needed HIM! Elvis was SO famous, it wouldn't have mattered much who managed him. A chimp could've managed Elvis and nobody would have noticed the difference. People came out to see Elvis and bought his records by the millions because he was such a FANTASTIC performer. Does anyone really believe that without colonel Tom Parker , Elvis' career would have nose-dived and fallen apart? PLEEEZE!!! Elvis was already a legend in his 20s and that legend has never died, and never will!
Elvis's version of "Always On My Mind" will remain the best recorded version of this song...even better than Willie Nelson's version. Much love from Mobile Alabama.

Happy Birthday Elvis - Forever The King Of Music
Happy Birthday Elvis, still missed, much loved.
I remember the day Elvis passed away , I was 9 years old and I recall every woman in our neighborhood outside consoling each other sitting on the curbs with tissues crying. At the time I didnt realize His impact on people but that's truly how Great he was. Great Human Being that loved everyone
My dad could sound just like Elvis, and he would sing this to me every night he sang at the bars. (I was 7 the first time and at the local VFW)
You are a lucky person 😍😍
@@elilianinha thank you. He's older and his voice isn't what it was, but still better than many.
Now THAT is the watch of a KING!!
Yeah, nothing subtle about it!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELVIS HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LOVE I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER MY KING FROM ITALY
No one can do it like Elvis...Forever The King!!!
He loved his fans and we love him. ❤
Yes we do...always ...
Elvis's version of "Always On My Mind" will remain the best recorded version of this song...even better than Willie Nelson's version.
Much love from Mobile Alabama.
Anyone could sing a better version than Willie Nelson's.....

I agree with you...I'm just not a big fan of Willie Nelson.
I love all his stuff he did with Waylon...but that's because I love anything by Waylon.
Much love from Mobile Alabama.
well Elvis is he original
The loneliness just surround him. I know that feeling. Good video bro.
Much love from Western N.Y.
To me he looked lonely, all of his guys with him and yet he looks so sad to me - RIP Elvis
Elvis is still the Kng for a reason, Happy Birthday Mr Elvis Aaron Presley.
You're a good man, Jamal. Don't judge Elvis for the vicious nasty rumors or lies put out there. He was a good person...full of flaws like we all are prone...but a real sweet human being.
You can never go wrong with Elvis
"Black Velvet" by Alanna Myles was a song written with Elvis in mind.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ELV1S! YOU ARE STILL THE GREATEST AFTER ALL THESE YEARS! AND YOU ALWAYS WILL!
Hi Jamal,

I'm so happy you found this song by Elvis Presley! I love your reactions, my friend! ❤.
I remember when he passed away. There was a guy I worked with who actually broke down in tears, and these men were old time truck drivers and diesel mechanics. Missed three days work to mourn. That, is the effect Elvis had on his fans. People genuinely loved him.
Yes....the emptiness of him being gone even after all these
Years and the love for him remains...
Yes Elvis you are always on our minds and always will be. You're just an unforgettable person!!!😢 Happy 🎂🎂🎂Birthday!!!!

Happy Birthday to my Father Virgilio Who passed away 12 years ago and to Elvis. Thank you for the reaction.
this and seperate ways, he sung, hoping getting back his Priscilla.
Ex actually spot on .. no coincidence ... his ego was crushed when she divorced him ... soooo sad but it was to late .
Definitely, this song was for Priscilla. They always say that it was one thing he could never get over.
This song was indeed for Priscilla.
He loved her very very deeply, but she ripped his heart out divorcing him. He was never the same afterward. Divorce kills something in a man, the pain is sometimes insurmountable..

Excellent response to rumours (and anything):"let me judge for myself".
There is a video on CZcams of Elvis singing this with scenes from his funeral in the background. Makes me tear up every time.
