I think that second one you mentioned is what one of my acquaintances is on .. for help with addiction.
I get Narcan coz I'm on morphine, and usually keep it in the car, in case I ever run into someone who needs help. I've heard it brings back from the dead, pretty much.

I've witnessed addicts screaming at ambulance personnel because they're in full withdrawal from their opioid - they're oblivious to the fact that they've just been saved from death! Ingrates yelling 'yous spoiled my buzz'!! Leave them back in the shooting gallery they were hauled out of!

I hate these commercials. Ok My son died from opioids a year ago. Wish someone would have saved him with this. BUT BUT. These commercials are horrible. They are just like :its ok if you do drugs, I will save you, not to worry"..... NO!!!!!!!! These commercials need to be rewritten. Do not condone the drug use. My gosh. Come on.

They’re not condoning drug use at all with this video. This is more for those who know people that are at risk of an overdose. This isn’t a don’t do drugs video, this is a save someone’s life video. Even if they did constantly say in the video that doing drugs is a bad idea, that really wouldn’t change much because some people are prescribed opioids for pain, and some people are physically dependent on opioids due to addiction. With this video saying you could be saved from death with narcan, do you think people will start trying to kill themselves by trying to overdose on opioids? Even starting to use opioids I prescribed will throw you down in life. Nobody is going to start doing drugs just because of a video trying to save people’s lives.
