Sooooo close to an insane bunny hop!
a pro would definitely have been able to hop that head
This is why I am a solo cyclist.
Raced for years and I don't miss this a bit !!!😂😂😂
I'll still race CX and mntn bike but not road. Just training on the road has worries enough. Forget tight pack racing.
The irony is, youR damn glasses came off anyway. And you got the double head smack; one from the initial fall and the second when the bunny hopper pushed your head into the tarmac.
you're responsible for your front wheel. following too close.
I had to race cat4 when I became a senior after years of being a junior back in the late 80s. It was hairy!! Upgrading out of there was so nice😅
dang, almost bunny hopped him but couldn't clear the helmet.
😂One the most insane head bike jump I have ever seen!!
Head bump jump gone wrong
Hands out handlebars is all it takes
oofda, thats cat4 situational awareness for ya.
The first guy stood up and slowed for a
Micro second. That’s all folks
not at all... when you follow, you take big part of responsability, unless the guy in front makes a big wave ( not the case here ).
He was actually ok until 885 stands up and his bike slides back a little
false, you dont need to be 5cm behind a bike in an amateur crit, its embarrassing
Wonder if that guy in black has a separated shoulder.
yeah, Kevin's Strava post confirms a separated shoulder.
@@BLaZEjjp oh shit I knew it. I know the pain. Just finally headed Mack to work after two months after mine.
@@p44doyle44 dang that's rough. I had no idea the recovery time and Google told me 2 weeks but I suppose it varies from case to case.
Yes, it's a separated shoulder. The collar bone is completely independent of the shoulder blade right now. I go see ortho on Thursday for more imaging and treatment options. I can type and manage to put clothes on but that's it. Such a bummer, but such is racing sometimes. Hope the other guys are all alright
@@uberbania yeah i did mine in feb and the other 7 years Ago. About 8 weeks to recover or so. Take it easy and don’t over due anything. I did that the first time and paid for it.
how tf did he fall off there?
He was adjusting his sunglasses and when he only had one hand on his bars he clipped the rear wheel of the rider in front of him. That causes his front wheel to wobble and he lost his balance and went down. Overlapping wheels can be bad.
Crossed the wheels. Never do that when drafting.
And this is why we wear helmets boys and girls.
Good try at hopping over the guy
Bicycles are not toys
