I remember in 4th grade, we watched Sky High in class, and we loved it.
A year and a half later, in summer camp, we were going to watch a movie, and Sky High was one of the options. I told the rest of the kids at the camp about Sky High and how much I loved it, and we all agreed we wanted to watch it.
And everyone hated it.
Almost reminds me of when I was in 3rd grade and wanted to convince my class to watch Coraline.
It didn't end well.

To be fair, this diamond came out way before my hero academia even existed.
It's amazing how there is literally a subreddit and 4chan fanclub literally dedicated to an hour and a half long Disney Channel kids/family movie and it's characters that is not even a franchise.

Something I just realized: if she was already in Sky High before… then got turned into a baby and REENTERED Sky High, how did none of the adults recognize her since she’d look exactly the same as she did before she got turned into a baby?
Simple, because she was wearing glasses. That obviously makes you look like a different person. Kind of like Superman
Well in universe she was basically the girl no one cared about in school so they probably didn’t really pay attention to her and what she looked like (can you say you’d recognize everyone from your high school)
Well it was over a decade later.
They actually explain this bit in the movie. Despite her powers having huge potential, she got placed in the "sidekick" class since it was the 70's and personal computers were barely a thing. She wasn't remembered because nobody cared about her. She was a sidekick, a loser, a nobody. That's also why she became a super villain in the first place, she resented the super hero community for both mistreating her and underestimating her.

he meant "that's just highschool" like "oh that's pretty standard." If the ending bit was him speaking from an older point and he was reflecting(which is how this story is set up). Regardless if it is/isn't, it would make sense for him to jokingly refer to those situations as standard high school drama. Cause that's what they are. Just with superpowers involved

I was "Laser Eyes" in this movie. I got frozen a few times. It was a blast to work on. Working on Sky High felt like being back in high school gym class. All the extras and actors were goofing around, flirting, playing games for most of the shoot. The production would bring in most of the talent in whether the actor was shooting that day or not. So the typical day was 99% waiting and maybe 1% shooting. Plenty of time for people to get in trouble. I don't remember the names of the AD's and PA's on that movie but, I'm so sorry for being a trouble maker back then. Looking back I was a pain in the butt. Today I feel blessed that I got to be a part of this movie. Also proud to be able to say, I was once a Disney Superhero! lol
