    You should do a video on how to fill out the forms for NGC. I just got a membership and I can't figure out how to fill these things out to save my life. I've had other people look at em to and they can't either.

    Yes fully aware of NGC UK international coin grading and economics and comical. As I sent in an Ibrahim Lincoln copper coin 1943 and also 1933 British copper penneys to NGC international London to be graded . I paid for elite membership of NGC UK for coin grading plus further £100 and they was unable to do the job as they made excuses that it was a pgcs, so I sent them an envelope stamp £10 worth of address envelope to myself with chip also witnessed by the post office and many other people apparently they are unable to grade very expensive rare coins like my coins of Abraham Lincoln made out of copper 1943 D and 1933 copper British pennies .

    Hi there!I really need you thoughts on something!I've submited a half dollar for variety attribution at the London Coin Fair ( 4th of February) and it's been 3 months since then and still no sign of it.I get '' order in process''(the coin was graded apparently-Genuine XF Details (93 - Planchet Flaw) on my account and everytime i've called PCGS(Paris) they told me to wait!Is it normal to last this long or do you reckon they've lost my coin?I basically don't know what to do,plus it's my first submited coin for grading!Thank you very much!Great channel by the way!

    • @Numistacker
      @Numistacker  Před 5 lety +1

      It is unfortunately fairly normal for PCGS and NGC to take up to 3 months. However I also submitted to PCGS at that show and I had mine back via a dealer many weeks ago. I would call PCGS USA and write to them as well.

    How do you clean the coins prior to submission? It appears that lots of collectors do not take the time to clean their coins. I've seen many coins in slabs develop problems over time ie fingerprints, spots... and hastily submitted ones with lint and easily removed debris adhering to coin within holder. That's why I try to only purchase coins that were slabbed for more than a year. Allowing the problems time to begin showing up.

    Hi Numistacker. If I needed to submit 1 oz gold pandas for grading to NGC HK, how would I handle the coins? Would I need to cut open the original mint packaging and use gloves to transfer the coins to the flips? Or can I just hand them over in original mint packaging? I am worried with taking out the coin from the packaging as it may affect the grade of the coin. Also, once I get around 5 coins together, is there a special kind of box to ship the coins in? How can I ensure the coins don't bump into each other because of courier handling? Any information much appreciated.

    • @Numistacker
      @Numistacker  Před 8 lety

      I give them coins in omp and pay $3 for return of capsules. I use bubble wrap and try to ensure coins don't touch. Just be careful how you pack things and minimize movement.
