If you see boxing as the science it is you'd appreciate how great Floyd was. To the average person that thinks boxing has to be a bloody slugfest or a Rocky they'll call him boring. They're the same people that complained when Tyson was KO'ing guys in the 1st round that they wasted their money because it was too fast. They want it to be a long slugfest that ends in a KO and years later when they see guys that were in those wars with health issues and sluggish speech they laugh at them or say the sport is too brutal. I think the media, and people actually involved in boxing disliked him because He is PERFECT at what he does (boxing). And perfection does not exist in society so how can it exist in a single man (regarding his boxing, not who he is as a person, and i dont care about his personal stuff).

If you are in the segment of fans who worships/idolizes Floyd Jr to the point that you believe he can do no wrong, then don't read any further.
I think he's painted himself into a corner;
For his alleged final fight, he fought someone no one wanted to see because we all knew he would win and, created reasonable doubt about the integrity of his record because of the USADA scandal.
I think if he does decide for a shot at 50 this time it will need to be against a serious opponent. This time people will not accept that it's his final fight or that he's done so much for the sport of boxing so it entitles him to choose his opponent.
The people want action. We want Floyd to fight against someone who can match him or comes close to matching his skills, someone who can give him a real challenge and bring the best out of him. We don't necessarily want blood, although it is welcome and even expected in a good competitive fight.
For his real, upcoming and last fight, if he does not fight a legitimate threat he risks not being remembered for all his spectacular performances.

that was great... he was undefeated, not sure if his name will live on forever world wide the way Tyson, Ali and sugar did. I went to India in a remote town in the north country side and I saw posters of Ali with quotes and some of the people knew who he was for such a young age they were. I remember spending the summer in Thai Land and there was a young boxer named Tyson named after the one and only. I've spend time in Serbia and I mentioned Mayweather... what I realize was that in all three countries and asked if they knew who Floyd was... and showed pictures... no one knew who he was?

You can argue Floyd wasn't the fastest, the strongest or had the best chin of all time or even in his era at the weight classes he fought in but you can NEVER question his punching accuracy, his footwork, his head movement, his counter punching, his defense or his ring IQ!!! He's the greatest ever in those 6 categories which led him to be 49-0. Pernell Whitaker and Willie Pep are the only 2 that comes to mind as being almost as equal to in defense. Imagine if Floyd never had hand injuries and was still KO'ing guys like he did earlier in his career.
